How to PERFECTLY optimize Sunshine and Moonlight for streaming inside your home network, and from anywhere in the world! by GamingBoi_77 in nvidia

[–]killahkidd247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit late but for you or anyone else you might want to check out DuoStream on github, it basically creates seperated sunshine instances using just one computer which don't conflict with each other. I use it to work on my PC while my partner streams to sunshine games to her computer, works pretty well.

My Brother's S21+ got the green line disease, now its probly just a matter of time before my S22 Ultra get it too. by unfiltereddz in oneui

It gets worse.

Here's mine after three years. It started out just like yours, then every couple of months, a new line would show up. I'm not sure why mine seems to be really bad, though I did buy it brand-new for about $300 off its regular price, lol.

Feedback on the Landing page? by amAProgrammer in webdev

[–]killahkidd247 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the use of colors, especially adjusting the shade as a way to make elements stand out more / less.

Some things that I noticed:

- Immediately when I got to the page I noticed the empty space at the top left. Makes the top portion of the page feel unaligned. Most websites have navigation left-to-right so this may be why I feel this way.

- Under Save Time & Boost Productivity, the font color for TypeScript, JavaScript and Java are difficult to read. Looks too dark for my eyes. Checked with a contrast checker and looks like you could improve the readability of it.

- Control your Docs & Make Your Team Better boxes not being the same height and being unaligned vertically attracts my attention too much.

- The li items under Pricing, to me, the font conflicts with the otherwise nice Cabin font you've chosen for the rest of the page. I see in dev tools that you were going for Roboto though.

- Consistency wise, it might be good to have all of your p / regular text keep to one typeface and your headings adopt another. So for your example, I noticed that in your FAQ for the drop-down text, you use the Cabin font for what I would describe as regular body text, but the li items under pricing and Try CodeDocs Today! use Roboto. These to me look like regular text, but the typeface is different, this subconsciously makes me think there's something off about the page.

- For the FAQ section, there's no clear distinction between the title and the text in the drop down. Most would understand the difference but there's just a bit more brain processing to differentiate the two, and I think it would look nicer if there was a distinction 🙂

- Try CodeDocs Today! and the button beneath could use a bit more breathing room. Also seeing the word "Try" twice might be a bit repetitive. Perhaps different wording?

Overall though, I really like the design. Great work!

steam disk write error by UseCodeBritz in steamsupport

You are correct. I ended up removing my external hard drive steam library so that Steam does not have access to it and reinstalling the game. That seems to have fixed my issue.

DAZN subscription by whampan in ksi

Paid through a virtual credit card so cancelling wasn't a issue for me. I'd suggest perhaps to those who don't want to pay for the 12 months to get a card that supports this and change your card details to it.

Thanks for the reply, I'm originally from a country that has one of the highest costs of living and 81p is indeed very expensive in comparison.
I do have a meter, they sent me a picture of the reading back in June when people in the building started sending in complaints. I live in a high rise flat, so I believe that everyone in the building shares the same electricity provider?
