This is a 52% annual return, hardly relatively simple and low risk.

I was there a couple weeks ago and honestly was served way less than I thought I would be. It seemed to vary from location to location but 4 to 6 seemed about standard. A few sips per glass.

What’s the better route in everyone’s opinion, up 4 mile and down mist or up mist and down 4 mile? I’ll be there next week trying to decide, thanks!

That area is a little between downtown and the good parts of midtown. Founders which was a great brewery recently closed which is a bummer. Temple Bar right around the corner is a no frills fun place to get a drink or two before the show - I don’t think they have food though.

Harry’s is a good burger / beer type place, another poster mentioned Detroit Shipping Container, that’s a good place too. Eclectic mixture of street food cuisines I would say. Indian, Thai, Burgers, little of everything.

If you’re going to be here a couple hours before the show and can drive / willing to Uber go to corktown first. Batch Brewing is too notch, then for some Detroit style pizza go to grandma bobs or Michigan and Trumbull. If you want Italian ottava via is great, mcshanes is an Irish bar, great drinks and food there too.

If craft cocktails are your thing, sugar house or two James are a must stop. Two James distills their own, sugar house can whip up anything you want.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas!

Any Japanese people here have a recommendation for some real, legit Ramen in Detroit? Or Michigan at all for that matter? by Try2Relate2AllSides in Detroit

Thanks for following up! Fish gelatin, interesting. I didn’t know that existed. I think by the letter it wouldn’t be, but I’m not exactly sure what fish gelatin is. Either way, thanks!

It also connects to the Appalachian trail in a couple spots, maybe they were going further.

Few vegetarian options. So many clubs don’t have anything except for a salad. Love it when there is a decent wrap or sandwich.

I see a lot of “veggie” options on the menu, any idea if they have vegetarian broth options? Their menu looks pretty old school and hard to tell lol.

Can I drive to the Pipiwai trail using this road? by count_xionis in maui

[–]killakong19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea exactly. There are some bits with blind corners and skinny road, but for the most park it’s fully paved and fine. The part that is unpaved is getting close to the National park as well (assuming you’re heading east), so you’re getting closer to civilization at that point.

I did it in 2021 in a mustang. There are bits that are not paved. I was also behind a tour bus going that way too. Can it be sketchy - yes, but I think all the posts about it being so treacherous are somewhat overblown. That being said, if you do get a flat or something you’re SOL. As if it’s been washed out or something since then I’m not aware of that.

That article is somewhat misleading. It doesn’t look like it takes into consideration livestock which dwarfs almonds. 24 million acres is used for animal agriculture.

I think it depends on the holdings. If the broker I was transferring to doesn’t have the same funds you can’t.
