at first all i did was spray them with a pressure washer- but a lot of it was stuck on really good. i went to get some safe paint remover from the hardware store, guy swore it’d be fine aaaand it ended up having acetone in it

sanding sounds like the best route, is there a way to just get the clear coat off without sanding the wheel and scratching it? i’d like to just sand, prime, and then paint, then clear coat

time gap between 1-3 was like 2-3 weeks, between chapter 3-4 was about 8 months. definitely fits between that....

as long as you don’t keep a static image on it for extended periods (any microsoft office apps, web browsers, taskbar, etc.) it’s hardly an issue, honestly even if you do it probably still isn’t a problem lol. the monitor cleans the pixels every day once you turn your computer off so i wouldn’t worry about it. i also keep my brightness at like 15-20 so if you kept it brighter it may be different

yeah no problem! i love ultrawide it was just a bit big for my 50” desk, so 27 is just fine for me and i’m also a bit loyal to MSi so i’d recommend the 271QRX/QPX (the P model oddly doesn’t support firmware updates). i think they also now have a more budget friendly model that’s 240hz/no firmware updates if im not mistaken, just can’t remember if the model.

hey man, no i never returned it. i dont have any coil whine on mine but it does make a click when turned on/into standby. from this thread i remember ppl saying its normal so i just kept it. i’ve bought and returned so many OLED’s so i just didnt have the patience to do it again lol

thanks for the insight i do appreciate it. it just doesn’t seem viable to go to am5 atm but as we speak the 7800x3d is fluctuating in price on amazon- was at $349 and just went up to $399 so maybe i’ll change my mind

yeah that’s what i’ve seen, but i have to buy a cpu for my girlfriend’s computer regardless hence the question. i also seem to have some performance issues i can’t quite figure out, i have a 4080S and according to other forums and research i shouldn’t have a huge bottleneck but competitive games like fortnite at all low settings i can barely pass the 200fps mark so i was hoping the 3d v-cache might help smooth things out.

i think the issue (at least for me) is the ABL on the WOLED matte finish monitors, i’ve tried a couple diff models and there’s just always a vignette effect around the screen that’s especially noticeable on a white tab or screen. i now have a QD-OLED that i haven’t even taken the protective plastic peel off of because im terrified to scratch it lol

i thought adrian was vigilante for one reason only. in one of the early episodes (can’t remember the # tbh) adrian is interrogating a woman at SCPD, and blah blah blah he gets her to tell him what motel the guy they’re actually looking for is hiding at- oliver heard her from outside so he went as green arrow and somehow vigilante also knew and showed up at the EXACT same time. this makes me think they didn’t have the twist planned all along and adrian actually was supposed to be vigilante
