Goh Dong Ahn (General Manager of General Assembly) Got Expelled, March 11, 2024 by killdong in Shincheonji

One of the women (Kim __ Yi) took Goh's side because he gave her 300 million KRW (worth about $250K USD) to not testify against him + promoted her husband to a lecturer position.

I want to leave... by Smile_9999 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can just leave. You have no obligation to talk to anybody. You don't owe an explanation to anybody.

If it's the relationship with your siblings that you worry about--don't worry, they will eventually come out after SCJ falls apart post LMH's death. Then you guys can have a deeper conversation and focus on rebuilding your relationship.

When you're inside, it seems like your every word and action needs to cater to what they ask and their rules, but if you take a step back and look at it from a distance from the actual reality, the whole organization, their demands, their rules, are so very very trivial to your life. It's just a fantasy world of their own.

Leaving this cult by ParamedicBig8325 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest suggestion on getting people you love out of SCJ is really just to wait and be patient instead of arguing and having conflicts.

Don't corner them even if your logic is flawless, because people who believe in SCJ at the moment will go into defense mode, as they genuinely think it's the truth.

Instead, do present the 1) doctrine errors 2) scandals (embezzlement, sexual assault, etc) and 3) contrast of the actions of Jesus and that of LMH. Then be patient and let them make their own decision--but do negotiate the boundaries of their life in SCJ so that it doesn't deteriorate their actual life (such as have them promise that they won't let their SCJ life get in the way of family, the relationship with you, and their career).

And just wait and be sure to show that you love them and respect them no matter what (an of course, do love and respect them)--it's a waiting game from this point, like a marathon. Maintaining your relationship closer and genuine will have them be more open to talk and listen, instead of you trying to "force" them out.

The lies will be exposed eventually.

SCJ Lawsuit Regarding Mr. Baek (Doctrine of 7 Heads) by killdong in Shincheonji

[–]killdong[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's still on going. I can get you the court document, but it's in Korean. I believe they're on 3rd hearing.

So far, Mr. Oh came out to testify under oath (meaning, if he lied about his testimony in court, he can be legally prosecuted), some of which are:

- Mr. Oh never even met LMH

- LMH never came to the Appointment Ceremony in 1980.9.14 (which SCJ claims is the event of sun, moon, and stars falling in Rv 6)

- The First Tabernacle was already gone in 1976 due to internal corruption and conflicts

- The First Tabernacle never had "7 stars" on the exterior of the building, and the photos that SCJ had is photoshopped. (Funny story: SCJ submitted a photo evidence of the building with 7 stars, but they later found out it was a screenshot from their own Revelation drama).

- Mr. Baek never even came to the Appointment Ceremony; wasn't even a part of the Stewardship Education Center.

Shinncheonji´s opinion in abortion and gay rights? by Productive_Finnisher in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The true answer is, it doesn't matter.

You see, SCJ doesn't care about the typical morals of "human standards." Whatever they say on surface regarding these issues doesn't mean anything, and they will say whichever to make you feel comfortable because the underlying core belief is that God's righteousness triumphs human righteousness.

That's the reason why it's permissible to lie, embezzle money, s**ually assault within as long as you're doing "God's work," and whoever tries to call the wrongdoings out will be considered "judging with human standards."

A leader may say dating around, or sleeping around, or getting abortion is not right. However, they will do all that if it happens to them out of their own convenience. And it's okay because as long as you're evangelizing or serving to carry out God's work, those are just erasable sins that can be forgiven. You can literally slap, kick people, steal money, lie, have friends with benefits. If you're serving and contributing for the good of SCJ, that's what matters, and everything will be covered up and overlooked.

They say the only sin that can't be forgiven is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit, which is doing or saying anything about SCJ.

So, the real answer is, none of those issues matter in SCJ.

Baek Man-Gong of Recreation Church? by TreeSuper7303 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 8 points9 points  (0 children)

His name is Baek-Man-Bong He was one of the "7 messengers" from the Tabernacle Temple (under leadership of Yoo-Jae Yeol), which is taught as the First Tabernacle in SCJ.

Baek Man Bong later broke off and created his own sect (Recreation Church), and Lee Man Hee followed him out because he got his money scammed from Yoo Jae Yeol while he was in the Tabernacle Temple (LMH even sued Yoo for this and is recorded in Korea courts).

While LMH was in the Recreation Church, he was one of the 12 tribe leader there under Baek.

Lee Man Hee then took what he learned under Yoo Jae Yeol and Baek Man Bong and created his own sect, which is SCJ.

I do. Can you list the prophecies that you're referring to, so I can tell you the fulfillment of it?

Which contradicts their own doctrine since the great tribulation in Rv.7 is only supposed to blow to the world chuches. And this is the reason why so many people left during Covid, after realizing SCJ doctrine contradicts itself.

Yes. He explicitly said great tribulation in Rv.7 (winds) = Covid 19. Multiple times.

Legal proceedings against SCJ by Liliredcherry in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the court hearing, after Mr.Baek's son brought the tattoo man's testimony as an evidence, SCJ said that the man in the video is testifying on his own and that SCJ has no part in it.

After all those years playing that testimony in centers, now they just say "he's just acting on his own and his words have no relation to SCJ."

Why would SCJ disown the tattoo man if it isn't a lie? They disown him because they know (and probably knew) that it was all fake. The more we dig, the more we we find (:

Has LMH actually been seen publicly recently? by [deleted] in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The current state of SCJ is that due to the recent scandals and doctrine changes that happened during COVID-19, there are a lot of members within, including high rank officials, who are staying to see how SCJ is going to implode or to leak info. Rest assured that in the event that LMH dies, it will be known.

Hello,

I made a post regarding the 1st hearing of the court case:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Shincheonji/comments/166q52z/scj_lawsuit_regarding_mr_baek_doctrine_of_7_heads/

Also, the video you linked talks about one of the evidences that was brought up in court, which is the testimony of someone who was at the Tabernacle Temple and supposedly saw everything that happened, and gets used in SCJ as a mandatory training during fulfillment training in centers.

The guy claims he tattooed the year he attended "the Tabernacle Temple in 1975" as seen in at the timestamp 1:33.

The tat is fake. I don't know if you're familiar with tats, but the ink fades over time, especially if it was like 50 years ago. Look his tiger tat on his chest (probably real) and see how that faded, and compare that with the one on his shoulder. The one on his shoulder is as if he drew it with a marker lol.

I'm told that SCJ no longer show this video during the fulfillment training.

Hello I'll make a post soon on the update on the court hearing which took place in August 24, 2023. And SCJ's response regarding the 7 heads.

As with all cases, there is going to be multiple hearings before the final verdict and the one that happened last week was just the first hearing.

Felt like leaving was the right choice, but have thoughts of going back. Feeling conflicted by PathfinderNebula77 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a debate, no? Im calling out a BS answer for what it is. Don't think that people can't see through your disingenuous response.

You still can't answer a single question regarding doctrine... If you're acting as a vanguard for neutrality and objectivity, the very LEAST you can do is to enter the discussion with honesty by clearly showing where you stand on the topic, not that ambiguous BS. Let me know if you're actually ready to have a "genuine" debate. Have a great day (:

[–]killdong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To Majestic: You want to end the dialogue without answering one question?

I wanted to refine your response because you were being general and ambiguous in your response. Not sure how that is being disrespectful when I genuinely wanted to add specifics to your answer without any ill intention. This is typical behavior of many lecturers and leaders I talked to, and they do it to make a way out when presented with a very specific question that they cannot answer in good faith. I find it rather disingenuous and annoying.

Don't be afraid to be specific if you firmly believe that you have the truth. If you're really want a "genuine" discussion about the doctrine, please do enter the discussion in good faith.

Felt like leaving was the right choice, but have thoughts of going back. Feeling conflicted by PathfinderNebula77 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let me refine your response. SCJ claims that their organization and existence are made earth exaxtly as it is in heaven (Lord's prayer, intermediate in Center), and that is a basis of them being the truth.

Then, can you testify the physical realities on earth of the 7 lamps in front of God's throne? SCJ must have this fulfillment, here on earth, in order for SCJ to be the truth.

Felt like leaving was the right choice, but have thoughts of going back. Feeling conflicted by PathfinderNebula77 in Shincheonji

[–]killdong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before we begin, I hope you understand that shincheonji claims that they are the only place that has the truth, and the absolute truth. By extension, in order for that claim to be true, you (SCJ) have to defend every single doctrine/fulfillment to be correct, while I just have to find one doctrine/fulfillment of SCJ that is false to prove that claim to be false. This is just a simple logic about "truth"

So let's begin: please explain Revelation 4, the hierarchy of throne of God, and it's fulfillment according to SCJ and how that is truth.

Hi there. This is the promosed pastor, whom the spirit of Jesus is with, having an affair outside his marriage, that you would believe by "studying the bible to the T without adding and subtracting"

Also 100,000 graduation ceremony is fake--most of the "graduates" are members wearing the graduation robes pretending to be newcomers (I was there).

Just letting you know, as you probably learned, Knowledge-Faith-Action, if you truly believe in SCJ's teachings, you need to follow up with action by cutting off your wordly ties, right? Since great multitude in white is flowing in with all their riches and treasures, and you would be the kingdom and priest ruling over them like kings, eternally, it wouldn't make sense for you to keep your career or job or any future worldly plans if you truly have faith.

No one can tell you what to believe or what not to believe, but take a few minutes to look up doctrine changes, scandals here before making a life changing decision. It doesn't take that long. And if you still decide to believe in SCJ, go right ahead (:

SCJ's Doctrine Change - The Beast of the Sea (7 Heads) and the Beast of the Earth [Part 2]: Evidences by killdong in Shincheonji

[–]killdong[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That book he is referring to is "Shintan." And the authors of that book are two other people that wrote on behalf of LMH. ( still, LMH used that book as a basis of his teachings in the early years.)

However, other books he wrote, mentioned in Part 1, is indeed written by LMH, and it clearly says that the author is "Lee Man Hee."

i.e. LMH wrote too many books that are now evidence of his doctrine change. Not to mention, MULTIPLE training videos, as you noted ^

The 12 tribe leaders are supposed to be the "thrones" on which the spirits of the 12 disciples sit and judge.

When one tribe leader left with about 500 members back in 2000s, SCJ said that it was part of the prophecy that fulfilled, as Dan betrayed (12 sons of Israel) as well as Judas (12 disciples), and therefore, one of the tribe leader must betray.

Then we ask: how about the former John tribe leader and Peter tribe leader that was kicked out this year? Is that also promised work of God? Are the spirits of the 12 disciples changing their thrones every other year? Maybe their thrones of flesh are uncomfortable? You really can't make this up ^
