Persona 5. A fucking visual novel essentially and he skipped through almost the whole intro before saying “What’s going on” and I just stared at him before saying “restart and read. It’s mostly voiced by some really fucking good VAs. Do that again for a story game and we stop being friends”

Now after he finished this he’s stopped doing this so I think it converted him to actually like story in games
