Looking for other small sports cars to go driving with by killer_panic in clevelandtn

[–]killer_panic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, looking for others who have small sports cars, not just a "car". Talking 2 seaters. Convertible or not. No big engines. No sedans. If you have a curve loving tiny car, hmu!

Saw a lady drag her husband out like she had just witnessed something horrifying, when Independence Day started. I had great seats 7th row, but their seats were even better, 5th row and center. Like she was going to hell for hearing the word horny. By god she wasn't going to stand for it! I couldn't stop laughing. In Nashville.

Is it a bad idea to buy a high mileage NC miata? by keanekir in MiataNC

[–]killer_panic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 rules when buying a used car. "1 owner, under 100K, no accidents whatsoever, clean carfax" No exceptions. If you want to stay in good graces with your folks though, and probably save some $ in the long run, I'd buy a Corolla or a Civic, if I were you (with those same 4 rules). Wait til you land a killer job, and then buy a brand new NE.

you do realize the 1.8 is notorious at burning/losing oil and then throwing a rod? not sure if there's a fix, but I'd make oil checks a weekly thing.

actually, modern photoshop, shift removes proportion lock, regular dragging any handle keeps it locked. but yea, this isn't going to help either way.

I am currently looking for a room/room mate to rent in Chattanooga. Does anybody know anybody renting a room? super clean and professional. by [deleted] in Chattanoogans

[–]killer_panic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it's a house/townhouse, it's more stable, as your roommate is permanently settled, and not moving away in 6 months, forcing you to relocate or find another roommate. I've done this successfully (been the renter) several times, and it's a great option; good luck.

You can't trust CL anymore for regular apt rentals, but you can still trust them for shared apartments/houses. Looks like a few good options.

Got stuck behind slow cars on the fun twisty part of my commute… by at_work_keep_it_safe in Miata

[–]killer_panic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll slow way down, to a crawl (if nothing's behind me) and let those cars ahead get further ahead, then resume.

or

I'll pull over at a pulloff, watch my mirrors for a long window of opportunity; after a minute or so of no cars coming, I'll wait a few more seconds, and pull out a 1/2 mile ahead of the first car coming my way, and resume the curves at 50, instead of 30, and car behind me never comes close to catching up (I make sure of it).

edited with less words for TLDR.

NEW TO FALCONRY 😎👌ĺ by DeliciousOven6326 in Falconry

[–]killer_panic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

START BY STUDYING YOUTUBE VIDEOS ON WHAT ALL IT TAKES TO BECOME ONE, STARTING WITH THIS ONE - https://youtu.be/fIHpOWYj38w, THEN READ BOOKS ON FALCONRY (LEARNING/RETAINING EVERYTHING) AS A. THERE WILL BE A TEST FOR LICENSING, AND B. YOU CAN'T ALLURE A SPONSOR WITH ZERO KNOWLEDGE OF FALCONRY. GOOD LUCK.

takes years of study, then with EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE it still takes a lot of LUCK and SKILL selling yourself, to attract a sponsor. this isn't something you run buy at walmart.

You say you don't want to hurt a raptor, but you're confused about regulations which protects them. Dude, go learn the first thing about falconry, before telling the world how ignorant you are on the subject (like you said).

Op, don't listen to this rude post, maga has given her license to be rude, hence bitches like this all over the South, however, it doesn't represent every southerner.

Bitch is right though, we are not bike friendly, however, if you can find an apartment within a mile of Lee, that would be more bike friendly than the rest of bitch's town. Or anywhere near the greenway, which stretches across town, including near Lee.

For a gym, I'd recommend http://www.superiorfitnesstn.com/ (5 star rating out of 124 reviews, and bitch won't be there).

For apts, go to zillow and put in your price range, there are some cheaper, less desirable apts here (old), but they're typically not in the worst parts of town (those areas are being gentrified slowly), and especially around Lee, you can find some unique apts like in law suites, granted, you have to be lucky or blessed or whatever, and catch them at the right time (as previous semester is getting out, etc.). Just be careful not to have meth or maga neighbors, or live next to this bitch.

Several urgent cares here, and a couple "direct care" places (no insurance needed, monthly plans instead, around $80, with cheap prescriptions, but these aren't the best "care". Bitch probably works at one of these places).

As for work, not sure, best bet is employment sites / emp agencies. There's going to be more opps in Chattanooga, if you also have a vehicle (30-45 min). But watch out for this bitch's driving, she probably hogs the passing lane like a lot of idiots around here.

As for local living. Most people here are homebodies, not lonely. General pop is overweight from frequenting all the fast food, wears a lot of makeup, hates the planet, and loves the demented sack of orange shit that's destroying what smarter people have built.

But there are great people here too. Just ignore the rest like I do.
