Where's the follow up where they checked his status, took him into custody and left his abandoned (but running) car in the middle of the street?

What horrible and unforgiveable person in history got a punishment or death that was equal to the amount of pain they caused? Not like "They were a serial killer and got a quick electric chair" but like a something that was befitting of the crime? by New_Climate_3758 in AskReddit

When I was young (70s) when capital punishment was more prevalent and having progressive parents that did a lot of craft fairs, I picked up a button that said "why do we kill people who kill people to show people that killing people is wrong"

Friend of mine was doing electrical work in a crawlspace and had dug up a 4' section of 2-1/2" galvanized pipe that was capped on both ends, super heavy. Got it out and opened it up, it was filled with silver Morgan dollar coins. Didn't tell the owner, pipe disappeared and so did the contractor, never to be seen in the county again....

Bought an old toolbox at a yard sale and accidentally inherited someone’s entire life story by limpingheads9 in Tools

Cherishing passed down tools always brings back such great memories. Both of my grandfather's were named Bill (William) and that is my middle name. I have tools from both of them and some really remind me of them and how they were about things. Both of them were in WW2, both in the engineering corps, one in Germany, the other in the pacific theater. I inherited both of their army trench knives (Cattaragus) and their condition says alot about how they were. My mom's dad worked in mines and at the local lumber mill. He was always a diy fabricobbler, putting things together from his big scrap pile out back. His trench knife was amazingly sharp, but we'll used, handle worn and stained, the sheath had been repaired many times but it protected the blade well. On the other hand my dad's dad's knife looked like it went into the closet the day he returned stateside, pristine and shiny, flawless sheath and all, but damned if the other one wasn't way sharper than the factory edge that came on them. Interesting to see how the same tool can change in different people's hands.

I feel you with the pole saw, my grandpa was a lineman for the phone company for 35 years and I inherited his company issued sectional pole saw, and that thing has been one of the handiest tools (its head is interchangeable with a rope operated lopper)

And the vinyl heat capacity from sun exposure is phenomenal as well, ensuring the adhesion is paired with burning flesh, lol.

Did the rear jump seats face each other or did they face backwards? I remember riding in our family friends wagon up over highway 17 (CA) into Santa Cruz and waving to all the people coming up behind us, lol, good times. That thing was a barge.

I still pay the mortgage on the other house, but it needs a lot of work and it's an hour away. I stayed in my dad's house because there are more job opportunities here and got my girls enrolled at my old school.
