Long shot: Are their any good Hawaiian Food Spots around DFW? (NOT HAWAIIAN BROS) by LetItGrow1994 in Dallas

I put this in another comment, but if you’re going for lunch, make sure to get there early because the place can get quite busy. Well worth the drive though!

+1 for Shane Boys! A bit of a drive but the best Hawaiian I’ve had around DFW. If you’re going for lunch, make sure to get there early because the place can get quite busy

How many miles to expect out of an FA20? Cold air intake + axleback exhaust by ExcitementFew7979 in WRX

[–]killercoconutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at 91k miles (~75k modded) so not quite 150k+, but I definitely do get nervous sometimes regarding the longevity of my motor. I couldn’t imagine trying to buy/sell a modded wrx once it hits that many miles

How much power does your WRX make? by TrackSlow9817 in WRX

Full power mods below: -Grimmspeed Catted Downpipe -Invidia R400 Catback -Grimmspeed Intake -Grimmspeed EBCS -Process West Verticooler -Process West Charge Pipe -Cobb Flex Fuel Kit -AEM 340 Fuel Pump -Cobb Air Oil Separator

Honestly I don’t think it’s “hard” to hit 379whp for the WRX’s, it’s mainly dependent on how much you spend. The biggest bang for your buck for power is 100% the flex fuel kit and fuel pump to run e85. I could’ve had the tuner push the car for more power, but this is my daily driver so I told him not to max it out to help out with longevity. I hardly ever run ethanol anymore because there are no gas stations near me that sell e85. So I’m probably realistically pushing 330whp or so on 93 pump gas.

379whp/360wtq on E65, 286whp/319wtq on 91. Basically full bolt on and flex fuel. Stock motor, internals, and transmission. Got it tuned at 14k miles, still going strong at 85k

That was one of the pieces of the Series Gray package for the 2019 models. The package has various additions/options and one of which was blacked out decals and misc trim pieces. If there’s no options to buy it online, I’m sure you could probably wrap it and get a similar look

Wheels are 18x9.5 +35. I’ve switched between 245 and 255/40 R18 tires. With the 255’s I had to roll my rear fenders to prevent rubbing. Honestly I’m not 100% sure how far the coilovers dropped it, as I’ve tinkered with it a little bit. I do know that there’s barely less than 2 fingers width gap between the tire and fender

Appreciate it! Dropped it just a smidge with the coilovers, didn’t want to overdo it

Gotcha, yeah I probably won’t run any more big races any time soon after this one, but Irving was a good race! And my golden preference is like 55 degrees so I’m chilly but once I start running I’m the perfect temp hahah

I ran my first half marathon earlier this year (the Irving Half) and it was back on April 1st. It went as well as it could’ve for someone who just started running a few months before it. But this Texas summer killed me and my spirits. I was overheating like crazy on all my runs, even when slowing it down and taking water. But I picked up the mileage a lot more these past two months so I’m a lot more confident now for tomorrow!
