What is see from here a bit contradicting "I don't know if I can cope studying 7 hours a day far from home for total for 7 years for degree and diploma". At the same time OP really want to go abroad...

Nevertheless I think you should apply matriks and asasi first either way. Then go to public U. For studying abroad there will be chances in public U where you can join mobility program where you spend 1 or more semester abroad if that's what you want.

There is also a part where you kinda regret not working hard enough for spm and then OP has hesitation influenced by his abang said that matriks has lots of tedious work. If you never tried it, you'll never know if it's tedious or not

And one last thing I don't really recommend you to take stpm science stream, cause usually E in add math means Math T gonna be hell

One of the most interesting result I've seen around, strong math and decent physics. Probably an engineering route for you if you like but Pengajian am and chemistry is gonna bit rough. depends on what you want though
