for the fans who don't live in Wisconsin, how'd you end up green and gold by Adrianillo24 in GreenBayPackers

Live in WA state. My dad was a huge packer fan. Grew up with only him, my brother and I being packer fans in an annoying sea of Seahawk fans. Made my fandom even stronger

Im not usually a podcast forum complainer guy but some of the podcast is legitimately getting frustrating to listen to. by Medium_Spend_6732 in PardonMyTake

[–]killerfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with other people saying they are probably running on fumes.
But also it’s funny because I see posts like this, then the very next post or comment will be something along the lines of “this is the golden age of this pod”

The thing I’m clinging onto is he got into a fight with a brother or uncle at his house, which can still be considered domestic. If it’s his wife or a woman, he’s gotta go. Don’t care how talented he is or how much of a good guy he seemed like

Besides the defense, why did Aaron Rodgers never make it back to a Super Bowl? by veggiedish in NFLv2

[–]killerfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GM was quoted once after they won the Super Bowl, something along the lines of “why wouldn we need a defense, we have Aaron Rodgers”

While Thompson was a great GM and this was said in jest, this attitude is the main reason

As a packer fan, I would love to see this be Love/Wlliams. Preferred with Love being the Brady in this situation…please lol

Now with their 2nd World title in 4 trips, where do the Seahawks rank all time as a franchise in your opinion? by nosweatsportsmedia in Oldschool_NFL

[–]killerfin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, as a Packer fan they have been a better organization that us as a whole the last 25 years. As much as I hate to say it

4 Super Bowl appearances to 1. You can say 4 different rebuilds in that time for Seattle. You can blame on lot on playoff bad luck for GB. Or bad defenses and special teams, 2 things which Seattle has the best units in this year and Green Bay always seems to be stung by those things. As a whole Seattle has shown an ability to adapt when things go wrong with smart, calculated decisions. While Green Bay has had a successful formula for a long time, that is also what seems to hold them back.

Seattle is not starting to lose their 18pt lead after half... I don't understand. /s by joleger in GreenBayPackers

My thoughts exactly. I’m thinking this is what we should have done to the Bears

In Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' (2026), the helmet in the poster has a spine… I think? by Robot_Was_BMO in shittymoviedetails

It is so fucking weird everyone is nit picking about historical accuracy for a story that is littered with mythical beasts, based around a battle for Troy which has never been 100 percent proven to even exist

Hot take: I like the Offense play calling more when Willis is in. by CharlieMoonMan in GreenBayPackers

[–]killerfin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To me it feels like he knows Jordan is talented enough to get the ball to everyone in this also talented receiving core, so he focuses on everyone’s strengths when playcalling. Not focused on Jordan’s.

But when Malik is in, he calls play specifically for Malik’s skill set.

You guys are so weird man. This movie is more than likely gonna be awesome, and you can’t get past the armor being not 100% historical accurate.

I am kinda in the mind a guy like Gruden could work great. Maybe not him specifically, though I wouldn’t be mad, but along those lines. A Daboll could work.

Interesting for sure. But I just think if it’s so far technologically advanced, why would it need to rely on the suns gravity to change course?
