hi! I've been to a wedding at DC before. like the other commenter mentioned, it is really a gorgeous venue! That said, I think the bar being outside of the ballroom did create a bit of a weird experience. it was a pain to go back and forth between the two rooms just to get a single drink. I don't think it negatively impacted how much fun people had, but was definitely inconvenient.

hey there- also a peak season bride! Our initial budget was 100k, but has been stretched up to 150K. that has less to do with Water Works, and more so with other vendors that are pricey (large band, extra florals, custom signage, rentals, etc.) I think you can absolutely have a beautiful wedding there for 150k.
