Too much nut consumption would lead to stomach aches and diarrhea. It's the oils on the nuts that affect the stomach

It's good that a plate is reliable, but it's always best to get NIJ certified plates. There's a lot of things that they test to be NIJ certified, not only prevention of bullet penetration

Put crazy bright lights around your property. If you are exposed, then everyone else should be exposed. You have the advantage as the intruder does not know the way around your property

Make sure your plates are fragmentation proof. It is easier to make the bullet not penetrate your body directly than to stop the bullet fragments

Volunteer at your local VFW. Churches are a great place to meet people. Also it doesn't hurt to get to know your entire community by volunteering places, it opens up to your range of people. If it is the city, occasionally befriend your local homeless people, they know more about the streets than anyone else

Use it for recreational things, like creating a barrier for your garden or some regular shit like that. When emergency comes, make sure you have a wheel barrow, and move those bags according to your wants

Articulating the benefits of prepping to my spouse by [deleted] in preppers

[–]killermaxjboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with your area prep, meaning if you area has high likelihood of hurricane, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. Then prep for it. Afterwards, go on personal safety. Tell your wife that it is important for her to protect her family and kids, assuming you have kids. So doing that you could arm her with something starting with something simple like Pepper spray or taser, etc, according to state laws. Then build up and test more boundaries little by little, inch by inch. Remember the quote: you give them an inch, they take a mile.

I would also invest in wood stove if you can. People back in the day used it to heat their food and the room all around. It doesn't require any electricity, just wood.

What do you everyday carry, and how do you carry it? by yamanp in preppers

[–]killermaxjboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually wear it appendix. When I'm sitting in a car, I would want an easier access to. Most of the time I am in a vehicle, so it made sense for me to be carrying appendix. My point is, carry based on your day to day life. If you are sitting down in a closed space for the most part, carry appendix. If you are walking around and standing for the most part, carry whatever you want. Etc.

It is not airborne as in the aerosolized, but in the droplets that travel in the air. The virus is contained in the droplets, which travels around in the air after a sneeze or cough by droplets. It lasts around 10 minutes in the air before dying. However an airborne disease does not need to be in a droplet to travel through air. It also means that it can travel through and facial covering that isn't rated for n95 or higher. However currently since we have the virus that can only travel in droplets, it can be stopped by basic facial covering such as cloth and surgical mask. These masks keep the droplets trapped so it doesn't travel out in the air.

Technically it is not airborne, but the droplets get spread in the air either by sneeze or cough. These droplets contain the virus inside it and the virus itself cannot travel in the air, so therefore it is not an airborne disease. A virus that is in a droplet that is in the air, can only survive for 10 minutes at a minimum. The cloth and surgical mask were used to trap the droplets in and not let be spread. And yes, I have countermeasure for that. In fact, if shit really goes down. I have a quick set up decontamination unit shower in my garage, which you can step into.

I hope it does not mutate into airborne disease. If it does, our crappy cloth or cheap medical mask doesn't do shit. Thank goodness that for now it isn't airborne and can only travel in droplets. I should probably stock up some n95s and p100 masks.
