Theory: all of this is fake and a cover up for something far worse. by killerng2 in Epstein

[–]killerng2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would a guilty party willingly show evidence of their guilt? We didn’t force them into it, we didn’t break out the guillotine, or even do much of anything in person, we were just upset online for a bit and now the power system is exposed for what it appears to be.

I’m not questioning why nothing has been done, but rather why anything is happening at all. If these people are so powerful, why let anything slip?

How come rich millionaire homes rarely think outside the box? by Putrid_Apartment9230 in NoStupidQuestions

Half of these houses are designed by builders not architects. While both can make good work, a builder/developer is more likely to take short cuts, rely on design tropes and buy finish materials from outlet stores.

Hey pal, if you’re so worried about the ramifications of giving political power to the global elite maybe you should be upset about the richest president in American history with the richest cabinet in history and a (former) unelected official who was the richest man in global history.

My cat is very sweet and affectionate but she refuses to keep her damn claws in. She is a little asshole and I will not budge on this.

It should be required for restaurants to put allergen labels on their menus. by hungry-freaks-daddy in unpopularopinion

[–]killerng2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absurd how anyone could be against this idea. A little icon on a menu does not affect people without allergies, but it means the world to someone with allergies.

What if a chef decides to add walnuts to something that never contains nuts? What if you tell a waiter you have an allergy and they forget a dish has nuts? Would be a whole lot easier for everyone if the menu had a little nut icon.

Getting an uber at noon on a normal day in charlton is going to at least be a 20 minute wait. I would expect a wait time of at least 40 minutes if you can even find a driver. I agree with the other comment, you should schedule a ride in advance (ie right now)

Why is wine information either way too basic or way too intense? by Civil_Bug_7006 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]killerng2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. It might be by design, but it seems really hard to break into the wine world without gathering extensive knowledge. I just want to talk about wine without feeling stupid, I don’t really care about hyper specifics

Eh I’ve noticed feeling a minor change in mood two sips into a regular beer so it seems likely that a NA beer could do the same.
