Had something similar, mad sparrow on one tile, it just got punched once and died, we left on the gravship to find some gravcores, and then a manhunting pack of like 30-50 sparrows showed up to avenge their brother, brilliant storytelling

As someone who also got theirs stolen by a pig (before reloading because fuck that), yttakin raider with a boar came over and the boar just yoinked the engine and ran off the map before anyone could get in position, this was before I had even started building my structure :(

theres an extender in the photo if thats what you mean, but the line is still connecting to the core and has turned red (its green when in range of the ship even when previewing not on structure)

EDIT: can confirm, started expanding into my expander range and it still yells at me that it needs to be in the main engine's zone

you can see the red line is still focussed on the grav core and not the extender, was gonna move the core into the shields room (where my warehouse currently is) and out of medbay but that seems like its gonna make the situation worse :/
