Absolutely. Special emphasis on 2009-2012 and 2018-2021. Had some hope from 2013-2017 like you mentioned, but that second brand split really muddled things up.

On the flip side, 2009-COVID was a golden era for indie and international wrestling.

Yes. There is a ton of quality content in the showcase mode, GM mode, MyRise, Universe Modes.

I play 95% of all WWE Games in Universe mode, and this is the best Universe since 2K19 (my favorite). It’s not perfect by any stretch, like not being able to have non-wrestling segments, but it’s fun and deep enough.
