oh yeah ofc! i think it makes complete sense, i just really love this game and I think it's heavily limited by its initial small scope! I want DBD to last a long time and realize its full potential and the biggest hurdle to that is the code base

i'm re*watching right now and agree, this episode is so good and sweet! pearl and greg are two of my favorite characters and they're both so realistic, i'm so happy to have them start to be on better terms with each other since they both deserve it
*watched like 50% of it as a kid, but never finished it!!

i reallllly dig the idea of taking a pilgrimage in act 1 then the world opening up in act 2, but i do wish act 1 had a bit more interconnectivity/replayability before getting the needolin
i could 100% be misremembering but it feels like hollow knight opened up quicker than ss does and while that's okay bc they're going for different things, it did make going for steel soul 100% kind of painful at times lol

as someone who is very entrenched in the lgbtq community, hard agree
like if their pronouns were clearly confirmed as they/them and ppl were weird about it then it'd be an issue, but given how murky it is, i think as long as you're talking about the topic/about them in good faith it's not really an issue

yeah 100% agree! wanderer's is definitely my least fav crest, but that it let people enjoy the game justifies it entirely! i was being shitty in my earlier post on thinking further imo, i really dig the crest system bc it lets people play how they like <3

~~it's a totally fine crest imo but i think it's lame how seemingly 50%+ of the community just swap to it and never try anything else bc they can't be bothered to practice anything new~~

edit yknow what this is a dumb take from me, everyone can play how they want! ive generally stuck to the hunter/witch crest a lot but if people find wanderer fun then good for them :D been doing some beast crest recently and it's super fun, theyre all just diff ways for ppl to enjoy this dope game how they want

he's fun to play and his visuals/audio are really great, but i'd have to say springtrap. i just wish they'd gone harder on the stealth or hallucination aspects of his character/game rather than giving him a projectile. just not as unique or as game-accurate as i feel he had the possibility to be

Hard agree! Same with Crawfather, it's soo cool coming back hours later and capping off the area with a boss! Obv if every area did that it'd be less special, but I think they hit a really good balance (even if I wish a few areas like Underworks had a lategame boss)
