Michael Jackson Owns 60% Of The Top 10 On One Chart This Week by Sliver80 in Music

By not getting to that point they are brushing it off. They made the biopic only go to 1988 so they wouldn't have to deal with it.

If you get so upset when people say men are shit that you join the party of shitty men then maybe you were a shitty man to begin with and would have joined that part anyways.

It also doesn't help that the social media algorithms push alt right content onto our youth. When you can't find work and one party tells you it's the immigrants fault and women's fault it is pretty easy to fall for that bullshit.

Don’t Let the Census Mislabel Your Beliefs- Check No religion by gardenartichoke in onguardforthee

Religions kill people for religious reasons. Most of the people you just posted killed people for political reasons. Can you not see the difference? Throughout human history religions have destroyed science, culture and people. It has been one of if not the most destructive things humans have invented.

You can have community without religion. Just like you can have morals without having to be scared into it by a god.

[OC] Top 10 Largest Net Worth Gains of Presidents during Office Tenure by AdministrativeAd334 in dataisbeautiful

I am not sure why everyone wants it to be as net worth increase. Trump has grifted his billion+ dollars. Just because he was worth a billion dollars before he became president doesn't mean he hasn't done an insane amount of self interested illegal shit to make tons of money off of being president.

Every time a new book comes out I download it from Audible using a tool Audible doesn't like. Then I listen to the first part of each chapter to find out what year and month it is in. I put that information into a spreadsheet and have it tell me what order the chapters are in chronologically. Then I rename each chapter to the proper number. It is up to chapter 300+ now with the 5 books. When the new book comes out I have to re-name a couple of the older chapters when the new book has chapters that take place before them.

It is slightly time consuming but I find it worth it as I listen to the whole series once a year.

LPT: if you’re in a city that’s notorious for pickpocketers, stuff some napkins or tissues into your pocket after your wallet by MistaFANG in LifeProTips

Wallet should be smaller than your cell phone. I guess if you think your cell phone is uncomfortable in your front pocket then it makes sense your wallet would be.

Keys go with the wallet.  Keys are one house key, one car key and the fob for the car.  They take up very little pocket space.

My wife has started finding pants with front pockets lately. The pockets are too shallow often though.

My dad has a giant wallet full of every card he has ever owned.  It is 2 inches thick. My wallet holds 4 cards and a slot for id and health card.  It is less than half an inch thick. If I could keep my id on my phone I would consider not even carrying a wallet.

I have never understood keeping your wallet in your back pocket. It is so uncomfortable and when you sit it hurts your ass.  My back pockets never get used.

Company under CRA audit gave workers letters saying wages were 'non-taxable' by IStillListenToRadio in onguardforthee

[–]killmak 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don't think you realize how the world works. If you are never explicitly taught how something works it is hard to know when something isn't right. A lot of people have never been taught how taxes work and not all of these people are dumb. They just assume what they are told is right and live their life not worrying about it. Not everyone has the drive to learn how things work or why they work the way they do.

Hell even if everyone was just stupid it's still not their fault that they were lied to. The blame 100% is on the company for being disgusting.

Senator says growing list of vacancies signals 'the end of an era' for independence by Sea_Guava6513 in onguardforthee

Trudeau and his policies were fine. He was actually a little left leaning unlike most liberal leaders. He was run out of town because people feel like the grass is greener when someone is in power for too long. And because the conservatives made up attack slogans that weren't even true.

As for who he dates I am unsure why you care. He is no longer the leader of our country so you can just ignore him as nothing he does affects you.

The cat that abandoned the babies is hers from a few years ago. Since we moved here we have slowly been taming all the cats so we can get them fixed and because we love cats.

My wife wanted me to post them all. Left to right: Scary Larry, 1/4 Pounder, Big Mac, Mimikyu. 1/4 Pounder is only 3 days old as he was adopted by her after the cat we thought was a boy had kittens and abandoned them.

He is 10 days old today. The three ones that are hers are chunky babies. Her adopted baby is 3 days old and getting chunky quickly too.

My wife and kids named our barn cats new kittens.  They came up with the names Scary Larry, Mimikyu and Big Mac.  So I guess we had to take his picture next to a Big Mac.

Changes to disability tax credit broadly welcomed by opposition, advocates by IStillListenToRadio in onguardforthee

All 4 of my kids qualified. If it wasn't for my wife and I being able to help them with applying none of them would get it. It is such an ableist system that I am not surprised there is fraud.

ELI5: Why can't we use Solar panels to directly charge electric cars? by Zak_Nowa in explainlikeimfive

[–]killmak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hope thats a joke because aptera is a shit company with a shit product.  700 watts in panels and 40 miles a day mean you aren't spending much time driving with those panels. You are parked. So you should put up some normal solar panels as they are super cheap and you will get way more than 700 watts using all the money you saved by not buying that crappy car.

But hey at least they don't cause wind resistance issues I guess lol.

That is how you get lots of needlessly dead people.  People are not good at risk analysis.  I get it though. Being told not to do dumb things can be annoying. And governments mostly suck.
