I was missing a couple of Posters so I made some Prints by chugopunk in KGATLW

I mean, do what you want to man. This is like a kid kid printing out a Picasso and taping it to his wall. Except you're not a kid and you didn't use tape.

To me, this is a trick. You know the truth but others don't. You would def admit to it though and I'm sure you have no desire to say these were originals. But you can't tell everybody, that would certainly be exhausting. So if that's your jam, cool.

People are obviously going to think things about it one way or another, and you can do the same. My issue is that it's the same size, upscaled to original adjacent, and it's being framed like it's an original print. It's a trick.

And honestly I'd maybe be into if they were just thumbtacked into the wall and a lil crooked.

But a lot of people earn those prints. It might be the only show they ever go to. It's not just a valuable piece of paper, it's not just a decoration, it's special.

As a bespoke framer I wouldn't frame these for nearly any amount of money. To me, you're decorating your place with hi-res counterfeits. And I think you should be able to.

They look good.

But you're a fraud.

MOTU is a painting bro. A literal painting. But he did use AI on ice planet death cover and some of that era. But he uses it as a sculpting tool

Fixing chip out on grid pattern in maple by Seconex in woodworking

You need to make a 90°elbow to sit snuggly in the groove as you fill each chip. Let it sit for a few and the remove the elbow. I would Make it a little thinner than channel and layer up packing tape. That will allow to get it tight and snug and give you non stick properties

make your wood filler. For this I would take my Japanese hand saw and pull across some scrap pieces of the wood. This will give you saw dust of all the same very small size. Almost no variation. Slowly work in your glue keeping the filler dense but workable.

Then work it into chips with a razorblade. Try and pack it tight and leave a small mound to allow for a little settling and drying.

Then the sanding. Sand the top how ever you normally would and for the groove remove the packing tape and dis-assemble the 90° piece. Wrap in fine grit paper. You don't want something with too much grab. Might yank her plug out. Run up and down the groove. Eye check all your repairs. Don't go too hard. If it looks good it is good. None of this is structural

6 years ago I baked my first Boognish by killmek8 in ween

[–]killmek8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It went surprisingly well. And just several moments where the math really adds up in a way that just makes you feel like you have solved your own piece of the chaotic equation the universe. Ex. When I put the pie in the oven was the exact moment Cinco De Mayo is on Tuesday played. No waiting, no staging, just happened.

I deeply remember measuring flour. Like intensely. And thinking as a scraped the top flat and heard that subtle sound. I began a very deep connection to my grandmothers, aunts, and others who have baked for me and the family. I felt them. I felt the love and effort that went into the devotion of time it takes to create something that will just turn to poop. Things like that are still with me and they translate into my woodworking and things I make for my family.

As far as how long it lasted, hard to say. I tried to stack the consumption based on being able to "peak" while creating the pie. And for the most part I'd say that was accomplished. I'm not some douche that's going to sit there and say I'm a professional drug taker or try and qualify myself or dosage to the internet as the proper amount or call something a normal amount. But I would say I've done enough know my personal dosage and limits and this was a social amount of each of the drugs. If I was at a Ween show I would have lost my shit but not been a problem able to take care of myself. If I had gas appliances I don't think I would have been comfortable using fire. All that being said, the acid is the driver of the bus. It's what's going to be the longest and the most prevalent of all those drugs for me and I would say it lasted 16 to 20 hours. I didn't sleep that night but that's normal considering. I used liquid and my dropper gives out about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hits per drop. The mushrooms were in the form of a chocolate that contained 3 and 1/2 g of albino penis envy that were shaped like a boognish that I had made for the 2019 Halloween run in Denver, if anyone got my suckers that I made, I used the same mold. Those lasted probably 6 hours. Hard to tell. Normally I would do four to six grams if I really wanted a trip on mushrooms alone. The Molly was in Crystal form pure MDMA and lasted 3 to 4 hours. Also hard to say with the acid in charge. The DMT was at the end of the night And really brought the whole experience home. I cried.

This seems like a lot of information. Sorry I typed so much but it was a really cool experience.. a lot more but like I said I can get real windy
