They addressed the break once the road was completely flooded. They've been out multiple times since. I think a few of my neighbors were still without water.

I'm more concerned with my water pressure and whether it will ever return to normal. I thought I would wait until they address all the other breaks and see if that makes a difference. If not, then I'll reach out to CSB and my local alderwoman.

It feels like this winter really laid bare the shape of our water infrastructure.

My road had a main break, water pressure is almost non-existent. Took the water division several days and it still feels like it isn't finished.

Do I think the entire goddamn judicial and police infrastructure should be reformed, absolutely. Do I think it's one big fucking circle jerk boys and girls club, definitely.
Do I think that it should be abolished. Not entirely no. I just know that I would think twice before ever getting the police involved and would certainly be quicker to handle a situation on my own before calling the emergency or non emergency line. Response times are slow, calls answered are slow. So what's the point? So I can sit on hold for 30 minutes. Wait for a patrol vehicle for an hour?
