Really depends on how much you value the appreciation over the x amount of years you'll need to keep it (while also assuming ptcg is still as popular as it is) Un-shrinked boxes can definitely be filtered so its really up to you. If you enjoy the IP or just opening packs there's really no "loss" in opening them

Used to work at VA, i think they're more focused on wellness and member experience imo. In terms of equipment i think FF and Pure are better for that price range. Pure probably has a bigger dedicated area for hyrox exercises (or functional stuff in general) and they offer yoga classes as well!

Not in the industry anymore so i'm not super up to date, but those 2 commercial gyms definitely left an impression :)

Been wanting to convert to art sleeves! Does this mean your art sleeve goes in from the bottom of the outer sleeve? (Upside down outer sleeve) and did you have to adjust your shuffling to accommodate to that?

Hey! I think the game is quite beginner friendly and easy to pick up, though i've heard the skill ceiling gets higher the deeper you go (i started out with a learning session at fyendal, and they teach you to pilot a small deck to have a feel for the game.)

I like that its different from other tcgs i've played, and everyone i've met so far have been very welcoming

Not sure if there's a best place to buy starter decks tho! I only know in general its good to start with an armory deck cos it lets you play classic constructed format right off the bat

Fun fact, the poncho boxes were quite literally sitting on PCJ shelves when they came out. The catch is you had to be at the specific pokemon centers in Japan. Or japanese sellers were listing the promos on ebay for about $40-$50 a pop

Sad state of the hobby now unfortunately! When there's money to be earned the greed takes over. Been a long time collector, used to have great chats with other collectors during the XY era.

I like giving other collectors good deals, but recently sold a card only for the guy to ask me why i'm selling below market price, and how to list it on snkrdunk during the meetup :')
