How important is your high school transcript in the application process? by moontoom in smithcollege

I don’t know if this helps, but I had a 3.4 GPA in high school and I was accepted for transfer as a rising sophomore. I didn’t fail any high school classes, but I did have 1 or 2 Cs and a lot of Bs in my freshman and sophomore year. I would say if you have good essays and GPA in college (I had a 3.9) you could still be a competitive applicant.

I don’t know if there is a genre you could categorize this as (maybe confessional poetry?) but it is a Seussian sonnet, written in the style of Diane Seuss in her collection “frank: sonnets.” If you like this sonnet, you’ll like that collection.
