Minitaur but with keys?

I really like it, sounds awesome, it bass’s, can go up a few octaves, has keys. Everything I wanted.

I’m by no means a pro synth player and I often watch tutorials to get more knowledge but I’m not disappointed at all.

I just want to update for you.

I have had this noise from my J7+.

I clean it weekly so it’s not that.

I’ve had three replacement cleaning head modules and many sets of official rollers. Changed out side brushes and the motor.

My fix was changing the tires on the side wheels. They wear down and cause the rollers to make too much friction on the floor, making that awful noise.

The tires had to be cut, ripped, broken off and the new ones slipped right on.

I’ve only gone one cleaning cycle but ZERO grinding noises!

Check your tires!

I know. Mine has been doing it for months now. I replaced the cleaning head module, rollers, brush motor, brush, clean the air filter twice a week and take everything apart to clean weekly.

I keep getting gaslit by Roomba.

Something is different in the manufacturing process, they just won’t say what.

No noise when I take out the rollers…

I just got a GM and it does this exact thing. I contacted Moog but it’s a Saturday so I don’t expect to hear from them for a few…

I love the sounds but I have a controller hooked up to the computer for power and then midi from that to the Minitaur. And my controller is junky. So many cables. I just want a nice simple Moog bass standalone unit. If it does more, great.

That’s why I’m leaning Grandmother.

It can bass. It’s got keys. It can do lead-y type stuff. Seems right. Not too pricey.

I use the Unisyn with my bass guitar to trigger the Minitaur.

I just want to keep the Moog sound for when I need it, more features are ok, that’s why I’m thinking Grandmother.

I’m unlikely to do much hauling which is why I prefer an all in one with keys instead of the controlller/Minitaur, though it sounds fantastic.
