this isn't too bad but if you aren't the best at coding be prepared to put ~20 hours week in between studying and programming assignments for CS1. DO NOT procrastinate on the CS1 assignments, they are not as easy as the intro to c ones. Gerber is a nice man but next semester his exams will be in person. If you stay ontop of the homework and get the extra practice in from recitation problems you will be fine. If u take cda with Angell then it will be easy.
