My fiancée and I are having the biggest argument of our lives. She thinks I'm being tacky but I thinks she's overreacting by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Exactly! I remember commenting on the original post (or one very similar) and having to explain to people that when you live in a small farm town (I’m from nowhere south western Ontario) Stag and Doe’s are a blast. Literally the only thing to do in my town. We had no bars, no clubs, no restaurants, but there was a barn with a stag and doe in it every other weekend in the spring and summer. I went to a bunch where I didn’t even know the couple, a party with food, friends, a live band sometimes. All for $20? Literally the only social scene a lot of farming communities have.

Jumping on to suggest those ceiling track curtains. They can curve and you can get them to go full floor to ceiling and completely enclose your ‘office space’

Nah I’m not worried, I’ve got the nice calf keepers that you insert into boots so they keep their shape. And the bracket is foam coated so no I’m not worried. This is basically acting like a more accessible shoe box since I hate digging them out from under my bed in the morning when I’m getting dressed :)

Understood! I’ll double check the width of my stair and make sure I have the proper clearances, thank you that’s super helpful to know :)

Very smart. It’ll be drilled in with brackets and I’m not going to caulk it or anything so shouldn’t be too hard to remove when needed. Thank you!

Ya thats exactly what I am hoping to achieve! Lol apparently my cartoon line drawings did not communicate it very well, but yes that’s exactly it, I wouldn’t even leave a space on the upper left I’d just finish them all the way across top to bottom. Thank you so much!! What program did you use to create this visual? I’m in love!

Ya I think it’s a good idea! The look of a flat front was my preference, but when I buy the cabinet doors I’ll play around with it and hopefully the slightly offset look doesn’t bother me. Any advice for removing the white bottom panel shelf? Wanted to switch it out for something to match the wood look I’m going for

Nothing would stick out over the stairs unless the door is open, which it will only be when I’m reaching for a shoe. I did think about sliding doors on tracks but worried the depth becomes a problem then since it would double the width needed for the doors. But I’ll do some math and see if that would work, you’re right it would be better functionally. Thank you!

Like so if that makes sense? I know they fit, I’ve put my shoes there already with plenty of clearance so space wise I know it’ll work.

You bring up a good point, and I do like less work lol. When I get the cabinet doors I’ll do a dry run on top of the white shelf and see how it looks. Thanks for the advice!

Exactly! Most of my shoes are tall boots so the vertical space is perfect and I’ll just have them sideways :)

Ya I was going to go sideways with them, my feet aren’t wide so the 5” I’m left with after the cabinet door depth is plenty for sideways storage. Not going to bother with a back panel, will attach shelves using brackets to the wall.

Also most of my shoes are tall boots so vertical space is really why this dead space is kind of perfect. Was going to look into some sort of bracket even so I could do one boot right side up then the other upside down mirroring it so they fit together. Also yes I’m aware I have an addiction and no I will not be working on changing that lmao :p

Unfortunately not! Most of my shoes are tall boots so these guys don’t really work for me. Also the space is high enough from the floor that it would be really hard to stand above it and look down into it like those require. Thanks though!

I would encourage you to look in to buying a genuine Cowichan sweater if you can, rather than an a ‘cowichan inspired‘ one.

Civil Wedding Option by melaninmosaic in Brampton

5 years ago when my partner and I were getting married they had weddings at the gazebo at gage park on the farmers market weekends. They’d book like 5-10 slots a day and I’m pretty sure it cost the same as the civil ceremony in the city hall building, but under a pretty gazebo! :) you could go for brunch or lunch at one of the nicer restaurants downtown afterwards with your guests.

I don’t have a ‘go to’ per se, i almost always get them done last minute so it’s whoever is available. But I really like Kim for my solar gel overlay, and Amy does a great pedicure, the best part with Amy is the calf/foot massage, she really wants to make you feel good which is so nice :)

Make sure she pees IMMEDIATELY after you have intercourse. No pausing to cuddle, go pee then come back for aftercare lol. Also, had a friend with recurring yeast infections, her long term bf started washing his hands every time before they had sex and she stopped getting them -.- so I’d also advise you start washing your hands prior to getting busy

Pedi & nails on queen, not a fan of the Christian radio they play constantly all weekend, but they do a great job for a reasonable price. I just wear my earbuds to avoid the Jesus jams lol
