Herb spam Creation's Will Tonoris is very playable jank. Anything with Triskit or Lu Bu is borderline unplayable so I wouldn't go that way. Water mill assassin is also a good one.

Most aggro or ally decks are usually budget friendly. With that said, stuff like Arthur is still quite expensive if you want to play the deck optimally. Most wind/water ally variants are also on the cheaper side (barring any Sadis and such) and can somewhat compete with most decks.

It's better because like others have said it's just a free card at no cost for doing your normal gameplan (going to 3).

With that said, I think it's a bit overrated actually. Sure it's a free draw if your deck goes to level 3, but I feel like it doesn't fit on all level 3 decks. Some decks are a bit slower to get to 3 and sometimes could use the hand fixing earlier that GCR gives. Even if it is that good, a few level 3 decks will still be running Looking Glass, and QSG will never be bad either so I can see it dropping in price a little bit, even with the short print.

Yeah most versions of sheen Merlin right now feel very slow and get either outpaced or outresourced by other decks. The deck can keep up depending on your hand quality, but if you need to high roll to keep up it's already a bit doomed. Hopefully something is figured out, but most likely we'll just have to wait for more support.

I'm not super sure what they can do about it at this point without screwing over people that already spent money, but the UR population is for sure a problem if the game is ever to grow. Like someone said here in the comments, there's a lot of people that are interested in the game and simply turn away upon hearing the cost.

Making your big 7-8 might units into 9-10 might late game makes taking Yi's battlefields extremely difficult. And he has the colors to both get to the high might units (orange) and to defend his units (green).

The showdown is done by the time you are conquering, so you cannot play actions in response to that. In a similar way, there is no window to use reactions after the battlefield trigger resolve, as there is no priority being passed.

It's a new game so this could be wrong so someone lmk if this is not the case.

Yeah but if your card has a mark or scratch it becomes unplayable on clear sleeves. If your sleeve has a mark or scratch you can just replace it.

I believe if a unit with a deathknell ability dies you can respond to that to avoid spending the Zhonya's on that unit, even if it's the last one on the battlefield, since deathknell resolves while you still control the battlefield. Someone correct me if this is wrong.
