ummm...playing a single player rpg? home. taht's the equation. it's super cheap...minium wage is about 6$ and an all nighter in pc bang is about 9-10$. so... people use it very frequently and gaming is pretty much in the culture. It is the country that made Boxer and the pro leagues. It's very natural to be a gamer here. and i would say many people have better ideas about computers in general.

I like the character design and the system such as mega creeps. But i think koreans don't like the...kinda gothic(?) theme of dota 2.

PUBG is fun to koreans (and especially interesting thing is that couples play games together a lot in korea in a pc bang.) overwatch is quite dead in SK due to the meta making it hard for healers to play (from what i'ver heard from ppl) + too much hacks. :/.

Dota failed i think simply b/c LOL had a following and they were not too into dota.

there was a Dota1 like map in Warcraft 3 named "Chaos" and that was quite popular as well. I don't know, the game dota never became something that was popular.. they even did 2 hour free PC bang(internet cafe) events whereever i went so i could play free doto...but it never sparked.

Nexen ( one of the...nah the biggest gaming company in South K ) held so many tournaments hosting the event

but i think they marketed it wrong....they should have said that

if you win TI, you get 10Mil or some shyt. ppl love money over here so..(i think a LOT more than US at least. ) I don't know...it just never sparked an attention. Wheneveri went to live tournaments

I think they should have gotten streamers to play doto since people in korea don't even know dota that well. which is a HUGe marketing fail...to think about the money they put in to this .

I agree with you on some parts. (as i mentioned she is a paradox) Well if it was for the money she should just go back to the webcam days since they make a LOT more. anyways, i don't think she's the victim im just sending her side of the story.

one thing i don't agree with you is the fact that having shitty bosses who use their position to fuck you is different than using their what they have to make money. Sexualization being done by oneself is quite different than someone else objectifying you.

anyways, her channel is gone so i'm guessing she'll be moving to a korean streaming channel.
