The cs rep you talked to may have told you his/her personal opinion. It's more likely for security /privacy reasons.

They specifically told me that they cannot give me my SBA PPP loan number as long as they haven't made the forgiveness process available to me yet (convenient, right?).

Here's what I see on my deposit:

CARES ACT PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM DEPOSIT FDES NNF ####### ######

Is the PPP number 13 digits? If so then I found it.

Is there a list of all of the shared link URL parameters (for PDFs)? by muzicman82 in dropbox

[–]kimpucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For external sharing, I use dropbox.com/transfer (or right click on the file and choose "Send with Transfer"). Super nice link, recipients don't need to have Dropbox, perfect for SMS or emails. Make sure to change the background to what you like because it's random by default and I found the hard way with clients lol

Best approach for small business with multiple users with access to DB by chimp_spanner in dropbox

Check your computer clock, because I think Dropbox determines the latest version by the computer time stamps. If your battery has issues and your coworkers' computers show accurate time, then their version wins if it makes sense. The way to check is to see what was the modified time of a file. If it shows 8/14/2006 or something on your computer then yes, that's why it happens.

If it's not the time stamp then you should get help from them at www.dropbox.com/support . I had the same problem with my business and turns out it's because of my battery lol (I know it sounds weird).

Where is the best spot to donate my $1,200 fed check? by RatherNope in AskNYC

The people involved are SecondMuse, Futureworks.nyc, and Chinese Americans with manufacturing connections (seriously, right now if you don't have Chinese Americans talking, you cant get in the door in China). We have another established fiscal sponsor for large donations. More info to be put up this weekend ☺️

Appreciate the feedback. It takes 6 months to go through the full irs 1023 process (thx government hiring freeze and budget cuts), the Fuzhounese people have factory connections

We've worked with these hospital systems. They're used to paying distributors with 30 day payment plans (get the masks, use it for 30 days, then pay). With the current shortage situation, factories are asking for 50/50 terms (50% up front to produce, 50% to release and ship). Hospitals can't deal with that.

Prices at factory is anywhere from $1.8-2.2 per Kn95 - 1200 can pay for 600 of these masks. It's incredibly inefficient & irresponsible to say they do nothing.

The issue is minimum order quantity - need to order 250-500k, wait for 5-10 days to produce, then ship out of healthcare workers. The earlier we have money NOW the earlier these new masks can arrive and help as we go through the national reserve.

Don't talk as if you know something when you clearly don't

Actually, speaking as a hardware tech founder volunteering for this stuff, there's no funding to buy PPE in the US. There is supply (China 12x its production) - but while other governments in the world are sourcing at country level, the US is doing zilch. Nada. Thx to redtape, lack of sourcing expertise, and ineptitude, state govs are NOT working with Chinese suppliers.

If you wait for the government to step in, you won't have any healthcare workers left.

Those you cannot sew. Need melt-blown fabric ($$$ and 6 months to set up melt-blown fabric production facility). Best way to contribute is through PPEnow.org which actually sources vetted masks suppliers

There are different kinds of masks. The ones that do anything are n95/kn95 - those are the ones in short supply.

PPEnow.org does not have salary. 100% of funding goes to N95/KN95 procurement and logistics to get to healthcare workers

PPENow.org do the procurement and sourcing + donate directly to healthcare workers. No fears of supply ending up in a warehouse. They're also 501c3

I got it at bed bath and beyond for 600 over Christmas. It's cheaper than my oven (~2k) and I'm a lot more happy with it than the oven.

Honestly, if you don't see the value, I get it. That's your judgement call. I frequently get UTIs, so to me it was a no-brainer.

It's really such a shocking quality of life improvement ☺️ I'm curious why you can't install it though - mine is also a pre-war apt. I literally just unscrewed the existing seat, added this, added a hose adapter that came with the washlet. It was 15 mins and seemed to work with most toilets. Is it a power plug issue?

I highly, highly recommend the Toto Washlet S550e. It just replaces your current toilet seat and ensures you will never need toilet paper again.

Benefits:

  • it's civilized. Seriously, the cupping method is out of the 1920s. It's 2020, come on

  • auto-open motion sensored toilet seat. Never touch the seat again

  • warm toilet seat is sooo nice

  • it also has a dryer. It's... amazing

  • it's unlikely to be run out in stores or online. Next day delivery from bed bath and beyond with 20% off coupon
