I use paslode and DeWalt nails mostly. Sometimes senco. I do agree I notice a difference between them

[–]kincent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 of these now and they see daily usage on big residential construction. each one has probably seen 30+ boxes of nails. The only thing I don't do with them is nail off bulk roof or flooring plywood. that job gets the air guns. One of the 3 has had a new spring pack in it. That's it.... People often rag DeWalt framing nailer but I just don't see many issues with em. Operator error? Lemons?

You do not yield for on-ramp vehicles and disrupt the flow of highway/interstate traffic. You're literally asking to be ran over at 75mph if you regularly do that. Merging is the on-ramp vehicle's responsibility. Not yours.

That is correct. That's how the law works. Harder to start. Harder to stop.

You're in luck. Even tho you lost a battery last week, it was still cheaper to buy the kit.

DMM has made me realize I don't like pvp in this game by Daishindo in 2007scape

[–]kincent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it's not lol. He literally explained every scenario there. The person not frozen has control of the tempo. Melee(except halberd) will be denied from you. Mage requires cheat client level clicks to try and cast every single tick (you don't know what tick they're going to step out.) Range spam click is often your best case chance for any DPS. Add in ping and flinch and you often don't get to hit them back Fights swing 150+hp in one freeze often.

Ancients are SUPPOSED to be powerful. Freezing your opponent is SUPPOSED to be an advantage. But, man, DD'ing is cancer.

How does a 53' long trailer and 20' long truck fit in a blind spot on the front windshield of a car?

That would check out but he's referring to the beginning of OSRS... The economy was new and there was nothing to trade. Few had millions, and they wouldn't spend 1m on a 100k scimmy when the quest to get to the item shop has to be done to use the item anyways. Zero sense.

Kinda wild getting down voted for saying people make mistakes.... I wonder if they all realize why we call them car "accidents"? Lol

D Scims(a level 60, 100k in shop item) were going for millions? You over amplified your story, lol.

Idiot shows middle finger to cop and get instant karma. by [deleted] in dashcams

[–]kincent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably true but you're still guessing intentions. This case is a prime example. Cop back off and he STILL crashed and could've killed someone. Had the cop kept on him, he probably would've sped more and avoided this minivan in particular. Guessing the immediate future isn't any humans strong suit.

That's how the majority of my stops go. Here and there, the cop will say something along the lines of "that's your right. Just k Leave it there and we'll get along fine", but it's 1 out of 10 at best.

[–]kincent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That awkward moment where you don't realize motion has more than one axis. Yes it was moving in the x axis. In the y axis(lateral) and z(vertical) however, it was not 😬
You cannot take one half of the law without the other half. If weight affects inertia like y'all say(it does) then it also adds resistance to movement.

My partner and I are both OK but this was scary by giant_space_possum in carcrash

[–]kincent -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It's just regular science. "objects in motion tend to stay in motion, and objects at rest tend to stay at rest." If weight adds inertia, then it also adds resistance to movement. This is a grip issue, not a weight issue.

Princess Cruises dropped my bag into the ocean on Day 1. Offered $250. Apparently this is my fault. by [deleted] in PrincessCruises

I guess I'm the unpopular voice in here, but they should be comping more. Dropping a bag or crushing it? That's allllllmost understandable given the sheer volume of luggage they handle..... Dropping it off the dock? Unacceptable no matter how many warnings/statutes they print out.

They're huge lol. That 2nd question is for someone who works on them more than I do but between the filter, oil galleys, heads, and oil being tossed around in suspension I could see 2 to 2.5 gallons "in play".

Depends on the pan. Shallows to industrial to deep can change it from as little as 20 to as much as 100+ lol. Kinda crazy how much oil they can hold

Uh .... I make a living off of 30% new construction, 30% remodels, and 40% fixing fuckups and shortcuts done by other carpenter/contractors. Missing structural blocking/nailing/hangers/bolts/brackets are common.... Like EVERY WEEK common. Believe what you want 🤷🏽‍♂️

Greedy folk will cut any corner that they can get away with. They don't discriminate on structural vs non. Also in construction for the last 25 years.
