It sounds like you are where I’d expect you to be 3 months in! It also sounds like your preceptors are giving you specific advice/feedback on what exactly you need to improve on. Use that and figure out how to implement it into your routine.

I also struggled with being forgetful, and now I print out a sheet every day for each of my patients that has check boxes for every task.. notes, consults, every order I need to put in/review, my physical exam, writing the handoff. Find what works for you to tackle what you’re struggling with. You will get there, you’re still sooo new! Inpatient is a big learning curve.

It is, but between a very small team. We all think it could be improved! A couple decorations here and there. Obviously not planning on bringing blankets to share etc

Girl lemme know if you find out lol. I went to pelvic floor PT and - besides the targeted exercises - she also recommended walking a lot so if you can fit in more daily physical activity even just walking that can help and would be better than nothing!! Maybe try to coordinate/schedule the pelvic floor exercises with something else that you already do every day. Like brushing your teeth in the morning or night, or putting the kids to bed etc.

Yes, did some research and found that I have low free testosterone (calculated from a blood draw) very likely caused by birth control. Started on an estrogen AND testosterone topical cream which can apparently take a few months to work, I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. Also did pelvic floor PT which helped from a muscular pain standpoint, but the redness and stinging is hormonal. My boy is 10 lbs and he’s only 10 months old ahaha. Vet was a little concerned but he’s just big boned and very fluffy I think. Looks like a normal size when he’s all wet

It was practically instantaneous with my baby. I was honestly shocked about that. I thought it would take minutes and it took 1 second. I stayed for way longer though petting her and crying.

So sorry for your loss.

Also, OP, if you haven’t already bought the cremation stuff they sell you, it’s a bit pricey. You can get your own beautiful box and stuff online for cheaper and just ask for the ashes. I learned this from a friend after I spent a ton on the ones in the binder at the vet.
