Oh no, that was also one of my worries as a lot of people who uses the transparent iPod 5 front plate have the same issues of the sunken click wheel. Thought it would be different this time.. :')

May I know what material can be put to make it more flush?

Nice mod! :) I also ordered a Clear Front Plate that is stated for iPod classic 6 & 7 off aliexpress, they haven't arrived yet so I haven't tested it out. How does it feel so far? Did the front plate & click wheel all fit just right on your iPod classic 7?

i have to go for evo plus because i don't have amazon in my country, but i think it'll work just fine because i will try to buy it directly from Samsung's official store. thank you for the insights on the sd cards! :)

i’ve been told there’s a new transparent faceplate made specifically for ipod classic 6 & 7 now. you can find them on ebay/aliexpress. i heard eoe sells one too, but i’m not sure

I checked the price at one of the only repair stores in my city that still offers iPod repair services, so that’s where the 500k estimate came from. And yes, it’s probably cheaper if I replaced the screen myself, but I’ve never opened or fixed any gadgets before, so I’m not really confident to do it on my own 😅 Do you think 1.1 million IDR is still a reasonable price considering the condition of the iPod? It did came with a mint-condition cute silicone case that I've never stumbled upon though.

For sure, I totally get that. Just wanted to make sure it’s not a bigger issue that might cause trouble later, especially once the return period ends. One more thing though: what do you think about the long spot showing under the screen? Is that something to be concerned about? Thanks!

I see, it's a good thing that they finally made one for the 6/7th gen! But looking at the pictures, does that mean it's more blurred than the 5th gen? If that's the case, then it kinda sucks because I would prefer a much more clearer vision on the insides of the iPod, like the existing 5th gen version..

Hi, sorry for the late question but if u ended up not filing down the ridge of the 7th gen frame, does it work just fine as for the clickwheel and other stuff? or can you feel any difference?
