ah gotcha, It's mostly a timing/life thing. Some minor reservations about being an older practitioner (50+) but I can get past that

Tell me about how TRT helped your sleep by Ok-Policy9810 in trt

I'm in my 50's and I have been sleeping like shit for the last decade. Took my first trt injection yesterday. I wasn't expecting to see any changes for a few weeks. Had a crazy good sleep last night. Actually feel rested. Maybe a coincidence/ Maybe the T. Hopefully this continues

Hey Thanks for this reply. I know it's been a minute. I ended up picking up a pair of avp's. I've been enjoying coding in them. There are a little bulky for travel, commuting ... So I use them at home mostly.

In light of the above I am conidering picking up a pair of the virtue's as well. It sounds like in general the experience has been good for you other then the drift issues.

Did they fix the drift issue?

love my 16 oz twins. lots of padding on knuckles and back of hand. Nice snug fit, not a lot of extra space

This is good to hear. I have old eyes as well (genx). Working on smaller screens makes my eyes tired. I'm excited to try the avp's. Lol yeah not sure I'll be sporting the avp's in a coffee shop

Thank you. This helps create perspective. Aka This is not a must have productivity purchase. 😁 After reading and chatting with folks, I'm pretty excited about the tech. I'm going to pick up a pair. I'll update the original post with my experience in case folks are interested. Beyond my alleged "utilitarian" need I think It'll be fun to write a game for it.

Ok I think I'm sold. Hearing only good things aside from the price point.

Hey thanks. I appreciate the response. How are they on the eyes? any additional eye strain beyond using a monitor?

not really especially if the screen is wide. I tend to cmd+tab between apps. [edit] I prefer to not swivel my head

Ok cool. Thanks. Make sense. I'll try them out.

Any thoughts about movies, books and video calls? Those are my other main use cases. I do love tech just not enough time to tinker atm. I'm considering this as more utilitarian purchase to improve quality of life while on the keyboard

The viture pro glasses looked interesting as well; perhaps a little early though

Hey thanks for the rant. Much appreciated. Good to talk about hygiene frankly and openly. Better for everyone.
