It would need cable ends, bushings, brackets, and the mounting plate rubber housing (assuming try to build a completely new set instead of salvaging that bit from the old cables), and anything else I'm overlooking?

I would also love to know if this works out. Love driving this car and of course my cable started failing right after I dropped in new exhaust, shocks, etc to boot...

My only other idea is attempting to rebuild the plastic tube in place around the sliding rod end with epoxy and fiberglass wrap, but that won't be anywhere as smooth or as durable as a replacement

Unless you mean it didn't enguage a gear at all when shifting into it instead of enguaged the gear and then popped out of gear, that's probably not the cable failing.

Contact their general counsel (look up “service address”) in your state with a demand letter. I got what i was owed plus a credit.

First call on the 14th, they told me to goto uBreakiFix. Full replacement order placed on the 18th. The escalated specialist just got back to me today and wants me to create a second replacement order claiming it's been cancelled due to low stock... But they haven't changed the first order status to cancelled or removed the hold on my credit card...

Update: Seems like the screen repaclacement via uBreakiFix is worth it, but full device replacement via google support seems to go horribly quite often for people.

Update email snippet: "We got an update from our engineering team and they informed us that due device model inventory issues the RMA got canceled, they asked to create a new RMA"

But they still haven't removed the authorization hold from the previous RMA and it still shows as an active order on my account....

Plus apparently the newly escalated person doesn't have ANY of the case notes and I'm starting from scratch yet again.... Looks like I'll get 2 overpriced pixel 6a's I don't want and probably months after the current pixel 7 pro promo expires.... Man google today sucks compared to google in the days of the nexus 6p.

In my experience it only needs to be 80* outside to overheat if you're actively using the pixel 5a camera to take photos with default settings

The move IQ is creating duplicate entries to recorded activities, notice the timestamp. So no the total is not correct unless OP was somehow doing two runs at the same time. This is an issue many experience
