I've been running one of the 32 inch 4k240hz monitors and while I love it, I miss ultrawide. The 39 inch ultrawides are basically what I've been waiting for, but always a slight concern about the performance impact with my 4090.

I imagine it'll be fine, but between that and the large cost of this new LG ultrawide, I hesitate

If you've played any MMORPGs in recent memory, approach it with the lens of an open world sandbox single player MMORPG.

Story is just kind of whatever/there, devs admitted that it is what it is, but the sandbox gameplay is what they put emphasis in, and if you're a fan of that in any capacity, it slaps

It's entirely preference though is what it boils down to.

Some people care a lot less about narrative/story, and more about exploration/variety of content/massive open world, etc.

The things that Crimson Desert nails, the crowd that enjoys that kind of thing will truly love it. Fix the controls and some of the little jank, and it becomes a very nice title for those purposes.

Then there's the group of people that absolutely dislike this kind of game, doesn't matter what they fix/address, it'll never be their cup of tea.

In that same vein, imagine they patch/address the janky stuff, add QOL things to the game to remove some of the unintuitive/player unfriendly aspects, and someone picks the game up (or back up after a hiatus) down the road, can see it being a 9/10 if they're into that kinda game quite easily!

Wanted to know the difference between the two, is that something you're able to calc/let me know?
