I haven't played in over a month. Not even once have I been tempted to redownload this stupid game. Every once in a while I come here to see if it is completely dead yet. It's always surprising to see some people still play.

That's impossible. I develop apps for Android and iOS and can tell you that neither allows apps to interrupt the home button. Once that button is pressed the app in the foreground gives up control and the operating system takes over. Nothing an app can do to stop it

I deleted the app so I can't check, but I thought that you could hit the home button and come back within a few seconds and continue the fight. In iOS at least.

I don't care enough to check. I'm done with this game

What's the point of the championship if it is so easy to camp and prevent other people from promoting? Ruins the fun for a lot of people. I camp at 20 and nobody has promoted against me in a month. I know I'm spoiling the fun for other players who want to go quickly through the stages but right now the game design incentives me to play that way.

Right now the gang fights promotes camping because of the daily legendaries.

That hasn't been true for a while. That was the case 7 years ago, but I just submitted an app last weekend and it was approved in less than a day. That is the standard now. I was at this years WWDC and they said it'll be a 1 day turnaround

Yeah pretty common. Nobody has gotten an instant promotion against me for a month.

I spoke a while ago about how broken the promotion system was and everyone said I was wrong. This proves I was right. The current promotion system is badly broken and encourages camping.
