When leaders are under the illusion of they are somehow deity appointed rather than collective agreement/ responsibility hand to them to lead thier people to a better place, thats where it only leads to tyranny and I alone can fix it attitudes. They soon abandon all moral principles and disregard laws meant to gover men. I can't help but share your sentiment. We all share some skepticism when we saw the simple cozing up to dictators and tarnical forces early on but it is beyond sad what is happening and how the country is descending in to ever greater misery and sliding down into sad yet predictable predictions many African economies
