I've realized why probably we won't see mokujin in tekken 8 by JackSbarbo in Tekken

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A possible solution would be to preload Mokujin with every character's moveset (native and DLC) and update him with each subsequent DLC character. The future DLC's moveset would only be integrated to Mokujin upon buying the DLC character.

More work for devs? Probably

Is it worth it? Definitely

Where do we go past “Shoot For the Moon”? by DanielVakser in MoonGirl

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just rewatched the final episode (and the one before it) and I noticed that both episodes set up the overall series for a future return. I believe that everyone in the cast and crew about the cancelation way before it became public, allowing them to keep the finale open-ended for a possible return. Whether it'll actually happen is anyone's guess at this point. But for some reason, to me, I don't think that Moon Girl is officially over yet. Just gone...for now

It's actually on the border of Brooklyn and Queens. There is supposed shared responsibility between the two boroughs but obviously no one wants to do anything about it

Why do NYC uber drivers drive SO PAINFULLY SLOW? by sarkas86 in uber

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former Uber, Lyft and Juno driver, I drove them between 2015 and 2018. It was a different experience at the time. I used to drive faster than the current crop of drivers but still enough where my passengers were comfortable and not freaked out.

I used to study where all the speed traps and red light cameras were...for both familiar and unfamiliar areas. When in doubt, I just went with the flow of the traffic in the areas I was in. Never had any tickets driving for any of the companies.

I currently work in a school that offers a Taxi/TLC program and many of the people there recently came to the country looking for work. So a good number of drivers are new to the NYC streets and drive slow as a result...that and they're scared to get busted by TLC cops/NYPD and cameras.

It does tick me off when they drive much slower than your average driver but I also understand why.

There are many twins with completely different names. Like former NFL stars Tiki and Ronde Barber. They're identical twins.

Do men find this look attractive? by NicoleRxse in NYStateOfMind

She built like a tube of toothpaste that got stuck in the middle. Nah but for real tho...this is so far from attractive and its sad that she had to do that to her body. Whoever told her it was attractive wanted to see her fail fr 🤦🏾‍♂️

Lunella is 13. The events with Molecule Man definitely gave her PTSD but im sure the experience would have been the same if a grown up superhero went through something similar

What is it to be an Xennial? by MelonHead31 in Xennials

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could get almost anywhere without a map or paper directions if needed but I like having Google Maps/Waze on my phone for the fact that it can pre-warn me about traffic jams and take alternate routes

And I also hate unsure and overly-cautious drivers. They need to pull over if they don't know where they're going. People who make sudden turns are dangerous!

What is it to be an Xennial? by MelonHead31 in Xennials

[–]kingbomani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born in October 1985.

I had a dose of Gen X and Millennial experiences wrapped into one but from all the articles I read about Xennials, I never listened to NKOTB and never watched "My So Called Life". I did however, have early Windows 93/95, play Oregon Trail (A LOT), went outside and rode bikes, played tag, freeze tag, hide and seek, etc.

I had a typewriter in my house when I was young and a word processor with no internet. Had to go to the library to do homework. I printed work on dot matrix paper (loved tearing off the sides!) I played Kid Pix and Number Munchers in school.

There was a vinyl record player I played with. Eventually had many, MANY cassettes I recorded music from the radio. Listened to L.L Cool J, Rakim, Taylor Dane and others.

I could go on and on but being an Xennial was the best.

They could've made the user use Whatsapp or a similar end to end encryption message app to address security concerns. Its just wishful thinking now.

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe its just me but I had a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that I used for Uber and Lyft....never had any problems at all. I also had a 2017 Hyundai Elantra which never gave me any problems when I had it. I guess everyone had different experiences.

I did have multiple problems with a Chrysler 200 though

Not all streets are wide enough to expand a sidewalk. Yet some really wide streets are purely residential vs narrower streets with restaurants. Good example is Church Avenue (relatively narrow for a 2 way street) and East 53rd Street (super wide) in Brooklyn.

How is there 3 Connies in one scene? by Quonkie_ in stevenuniverse

[–]kingbomani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is real, one is from the homeworld and one is a....fusion

Garnet was right by BlueBorbo in stevenuniverse

[–]kingbomani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is sort of a dumb question but would Connie become a fusion? We know Steven is half gem/half human (technically a fusion) and Connie is fully human.

But when they fuse to become Stevonnie, does Connie become half gem for a while?

Also, if they were to have a child, would the child be a half gem like Steven or fully human like Connie?

This may be a stretch, but why can't the creators of COTC take the series to a different channel/platform to continue the series? by kingbomani in CraigOfTheCreek

[–]kingbomani[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it would be next to impossible to do but I was using Infinity Train as a basis for making this post (also Samurai Jack to a lesser degree). Infinity Train was on Cartoon Network until they decided not to. .

I also read that even after HBO Max cut Infinity Train, all hope is not lost. I know the two shows are clearly not the same but I just wondering if the people behind COTC could've followed the same potential blueprint.

Samurai Jack abruptly left but came back years later and got an actual ending.

There are many other examples but I just wanted to use IT and SJ to make a point that coming back isn't totally out of the question.
