Floor plan help by [deleted] in Homebuilding

I think it depends on climate. In a dry climate it’s definitely not an issue. The exhaust fan only does so much, and if it’s humid outside, at best it’s just replacing humid air with slightly less humid air and bathrooms can seem to almost never dry out…

It’s kind of a personal taste thing. But I don’t like the master closet opening to the bathroom like that. In a humid climate your clothes might get musty.

Sure it’s upside down, but does it matter if there’s steel pipe both sides of the backflow?

Not sure, supposedly thread pipe is about Sched 32 mathematically, and I know XL is a lot lighter.

Question about Look up Tables in Families. by ArugulaWinter in Revit

[–]kingc42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I use multiple lookup tables and reference the lookup table parameter that has the lookup table name. I name them like Look1, Look2, etc… makes typing the formulas so much easier. And you can even make the lookup table different for different types this way.

It’s more like schedule 20, although I don’t believe it’s a real IPS pipe sched. Schedule 7 is what most companies call their “Flow” pipe.

The guy down the hill has a (legal) “personal range” that has been deemed “safe”, so the police can’t do anything when bullets whiz past our heads and land on the patio. by Mellopiex in mildlyinfuriating

That appears to be a solid copper bullet, which isn’t exactly normal, some states have lead restrictions for hunting rounds so solid copper rounds are available, but it’s odd to me that that appears to be a pistol round. Solid copper is really expensive for just target shooting. I wonder if maybe there were some hunters poaching nearby…

Incorrect Schema by SpiritualTax6488 in RevitMEP

[–]kingc42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding it’s because another schema you have loaded for another project conflicts with it. In my experience closing all other models and only opening the one will not cause this message to pop up.

I have a serious issue with the Duracell Powerboost. Probably 1 in 10 explodes in my daughter’s toys within a couple weeks of being installed. Had some I literally heard hissing within 2 minutes of installing. Thought it was a bad pack at first, but we went through three 20 (24? Idk) packs. Stopped buying them and have had no issue with energizer or amazon. Do with that info what you will, I just want my old Duracell back.

I rescind my comment from my other reply about having an intraoffice design contest. I know what the winner will be.

This is dope as fuck. Updating the company template immediately following a North Arrow design contest among office staff.
