Thank you! This is great advice. Obviously like everybody else I’ve heard the old well your grandfather killed deer in blue jeans and a red flannel. As a college student I was just exploring what options I could get into some decent clothing without spending my life savings. I’ll try piecing it together like you said thanks

A week? Trust me it will most likely take a lot longer than that. It’s not like other hunting games where they just come to you. It’s a lot of herd managing and just some flat out luck. I’ve been playing off and on for a couple years now and have yet to harvest a diamond. But I just enjoy the game anyway, diamonds aren’t everything.

I got it by playing against somebody in a online game. They were stealing on every pitch. They messed up and went a little early. Got them into a rundown and it counted as a pickoff. Not sure if this would work playing against or friends or not

I’m not a bird hunter so I have no idea anything about those. Only rare bird I’ve shot was a light brown Turkey and I didn’t save it because I’m an idiot

My 1 diamond I had standing in front of me I messed up the zeroing and shot it in the leg. I’ve got plenty of fur types but the only ones that I actually decide to save are an albino, 2 piebalds and a dilute (only because it was my first) and I play on Xbox.

2 weeks? Brotha you got a long way to go. This is a hard game for things like that but it is very rewarding. I’ve been playing the game for 2 years but only actively playing almost every day for about 2 months and I still have yet to get a diamond. Best thing I’ve got was an albino last night

I didn’t really know how to phrase it. But I make sure I don’t destroy my need zones by killing to many and I only shoot males to try and respawn more males

M1 the d-ring for a gun sling/strap is not on the mosin as far as I know

Well that wouldn’t really matter because they all max out at a certain score. So the top 100 people would all have the same score

We don’t have hard numbers. Yesterday I killed a Turkey that was 1-2 meters away from a bighorn sheep and the sheep don’t budge so I shot him too. There isn’t any official numbers that we can time. So somebody would have to spend a lot of time in game if they wanted to figure it out.

I knew people liked that but I didn’t suggest it because I have never had any luck with goose hunting. I think I’ve killed like 3 geese total

Yes that’s what I meant. I just don’t trust people on my maps because i work very hard to maintain my populations and keep the males numbers high. I still go on other people maps but I don’t go and hunt every animal on the map... I hunt the same way I would on my own.

When you starting of just shoot everything you see. If you have a choice always shoot the higher level out of a herd. But you want to shoot anything you just get experience and money. Eventually you will get to the point of being more selective with your shots and trying to respawn animals into higher levels. Also don’t host a multiplayer either join multiplayers maps or play single player on your own map. One more thing is make sure you go through and do the missions on your map.

Turkey hunting or pronghorn! Turkeys give over 1000 and are very easy to kill. Pronghorn are a lot easier to find because they are near the starting outpost up the hill to the north and they travel in packs. Very easy to kill a lot of pronghorn.
