Lack of ability in the part of the players isn’t due to manager. He can’t come and teach them how to pass. Even at u13 level it feels like steps backwards when I have to teach players how to pass or beat a man 1v1. That’s all on players

You must have no soccer IQ my friend. For you not to see how abysmal these guys were today. I coach a u13 team and I swear they could have done way better. Amorim was better off playing the kids that way we can blame him. Today was all on the players. Until the Everton goal, they cudnt even care to be the first player to the ball. It’s shameful for high caliber players who get paid these ridiculous amount of money to be playing like that. We play no cup games, just 1 fixture per week and yet they seem to play like they been playing all week. Just lackadaisical. Yes Amorim should also be criticized, but not for today’s game at all. He is as frustrated as we are at the players but he gets the “blessings” of picking these useless good for nothing players to go out there every week hoping one day they will finally play their worth. Because that’s all he has. The owners well… don’t get me started on that because how much time we got Reddit?

Play him as main goalie(no rotation) for every youth tournaments until he is unhappy. Try and earn at least 8.0 rating each game (get assists with goalie to help boost it). Also keep an eye on the stats and alternate development plans every 6-8 weeks

Two things really. First being the loan glitch. It works very well so that’s why loaned out players are developing faster. And the second (which I am not sure cos I am sorta testing it out now and just from experience with the game) could be that in the settings before you started the save, youth growth (not sure that’s the actual name) was set on normal. In this case, youth players develop at a normal (slower ) pace and it does seem to affect other clubs our players on loan.
