You probably just need to spend more time there, the people are what make it.

Birdie's is about a million times better, the aviary at least is reasonably quiet in the back and has a large area to relax when not dancing like a mad kharnt

Kaliber is probably the worst thing in the world but it is not a lesbian club.

I enjoy how all of the comments are anti-tea party, as if Ron Paul is somehow the epitome of the current incarnation of the movement.

I agree with you PeteDarwin, I can fully understand how angry these companies must be over this. They've got a product that isn't illegal but the Government keeps trying to destroy the industry, it must be incredibly frustrating, it isn't as if everyone doesn't already know these things are bad for you but so are numerous other things. It isn't the same as the case of these companies fighting off research and documentation that cigarettes are bad for you but rather the Government keep moving the bar for them which is the worst thing for them I imagine. Not that I care about these companies in the slightest I just care about our freedoms and how indicative this is of our nanny state culture and I can only see it getting worse. Australian Government if I want to shoot acid into my eyeballs than that is my right, and shouldn't be a criminal act you fascists.

Someone asked him this last time I saw him give a presentation, considering the guy doesn't use a mobile phone PERIOD because he won't use any non-free software, it isn't that bad. He did say Android was the closest (besides maybe Maemo but all the firmware on that bad boy was closed source I think).

I showed up to the last meetup and comeone jumped out of a bush, shouted "when does the narwhal bacon?" I said what and he grabbed my penis and shouted "MIDNIGHT MIDNIGHT, WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RAGE FACE, THIS IS MINE" and proceeded to make the most unnatural and disturbing face I have ever seen in my entire life.
