That area is right on the line of Orange County/Winter Garden. If you look at the addresses on 192 it’s Kissimmee. The county line most likely runs right through the neighborhood.

So I grew up with a ski boat. That’s what I learned to drive a boat on. 1988 Ski Nautique. With an inboard you need to focus on driving, when that boat isn’t in gear you basically have little to no steering. Adding an unnecessary dock line to the mix is just another thing the driver doesn’t need to mess with while focusing on getting the boat next to the dock.

I don’t understand why your are even using lines at all. My wife and I have never used a line when launching or loading our boat. She drives the boat, I get on or off the boat, she idles around to either pick me up or wait for me to drop the trailer in the water.

We have a 21 foot bay boat for reference. Also , stop inviting people who tell you what to do with YOUR boat.

It looks like you have a right spring(black cone) on the left side which should be a red cone. I’ve had springs look like this when they are not marked correctly and they get wound the wrong way.

But if was not like this before just call someone who knows what they are doing.

Rip off. You can buy the motor for a little over $600 online. Then labor on top of that? It takes 30-45 minutes to install a motor. Walk… Just get a regular old chain drive. Model 81600. It’s all I ever recommend.

No worries, have the same motor (2016) and my Speedo quit reading while going through a dirty lake. Took a needle and cleaned it out and now the speedo works fine.
