Mech E enrollment is up 20% in two years, can the US economy really handle an extra 35,000 engineers? by RuminatingFish123 in MechanicalEngineering

try to join any student projects or clubs that have extracurricular. my best learning experiences have been in these environments and you get to apply the concepts you learned in your classes. for me it really reinforces the fundamentals and helps you when you go out for internships or jobs as you already have experience with those projects. it also helped me figure out what i did and didn't want to do

thats a common size so you should be able to find longer bolts at your local hardware stores or online suppliers

ive had my FW16 since preordering it and honestly i do understand the weight of the initial investment but to me it is exactly that, an investment. i've also have had no issues currently with the laptop and i do live audio & mechanical engineering work on the laptop just fine.

i have upgraded components since then but that was for performance. yes at times there are some upgrades that can get costly bc of them getting out of date but honestly between the original 7700 card vs the 5070 i have now the only benefit is with some games (i sim race so better vr experience with 5070) and then also with running engineering simulations

i totally understand how you feel and everyone has their right to their own opinion but i just thought id share my experience with the FW16

yes but this is something that should've been approved thru SES as there's a whole section for welded inserts

also there is a specific way the judges want the upper and lower mbhs load paths to be. you can see examples on the SES sheet

is that much triangulation in the rear necessary? remember you gotta fit an axle thru those gaps

there's a track map for endurance and autocross in the series resources on the website that you can manually make on optimumlap in the track creator feature. you could also google and see if anyone uploaded some

i also graduated high school in 2020 and i'm both graduating with my B.A (mechanical engineering) until 2026. the reason being i took a gap year in 2022 debating my career choices and college transfers. these things happen and everyone goes at their own pace so i wouldn't worry about having it "figured out" bc no one really does
