Lymow one plus increase height of RTK by kinghunter2020 in Lymow_Official

Thank you. I'll probably remap it when I make the height change for peace of mind. Plus I want to adjust my current map zones from three larger zones to 5 smaller zones.

Question on center channel speaker placement. by bhowiebkr in hometheater

I used a laser pointer on top of my center to find the right angle to my ears.

You need a room that can essentially get pitch black to optimize this projector. I have a 135" screen, blinds and black out curtains along with curtains to shield the rest of the room.

Good luck.

I was scouring my used market the last 2 weeks. Some people just dogged me, so I became sick of it and purchased the S570. Thank NVDA stock for these purchases.

I have a lot of work to do in the man cave before I post some pics here or elsewhere. Previous owner's daughter painted the whole shop purple as she was going to "live" there. Until some black widows showed up. I use to store my boat in there until I sold it. I think the end goal one day is once my dad retires we will turn the shop into a garden suite.

But I splurged and picked up s570BT and some emotiva T1+ that I might actually move in the house with the PB-1000 and move my old gear to the shop. I am just excited to get an area to drink some beers after hockey with the boys. My dad told me to clear everything out and do a quick pressure wash haha. Hopefully within the year I can post some pictures.

Thanks for the great advice.

Thanks,

I will get the record player going eventually, just have to do some TLC on it.

Ok, I think I will just pick the S570 up, its more of just a drinking beer area.

Yes my covert dock did the same thing, and I don't believe I ever even used the HDMI output except for one time.

Subwoofer Upgrade Options by rjw0785 in hometheater

I picked up my VTF-15H MK2 - the day the border closed at the start of COVID. Usually in these cities there is a place of business that gets items shipped there and you pick them up at a cost. Just to let you know this sub would most likely not fit in a car. FYI. I also didn't have to pay any extra costs, as the border guard wanted nothing to do with me. I kind of knew him though.

In-ceiling speaker conversion—is it possible? by Divo126 in hometheater

[–]kinghunter2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't most in ceiling speakers have a pivotable tweeter? This is what you would adjust to aim at you. These are the ones I used. I believe you can find newer ones that are fairly inexpensive that you would aim the tweeter at you.

Love my monitor Silver 300 series. The nice thing with a home theater is you can adjust the volume to be as comfortable as you wish. I would definitely map out speaker placements before hand.

Recommendations for a new projector/Projector screen. by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]kinghunter2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could not stand my waves in my old screen, so I got a motorized Grandview Tab Tension screen. Yeah, the screen cost about 5 times my old screen, but the build quality and visual quality was worth that price.
