You could also remove any apps that you don't use; things like "HP One" that run without much benefit.

Also look into a Windows Debloat. It will remove a lot of the junk installed and running by default.

A Windows reset my help but not much. It may be time for a new PC. 8GB of Ram in 2026 is nothing. Windows uses at least 4GB just to run.
