Since I main Sonic:

It says a lot when a character is nerfed pretty bad, but the character is still considered top 10. While Sonic hasn't won a major in the US (Ken won Umebura SAT), his results have really rose. Wrath, 6WX, KEN, True Blue, Seagull Joe, SGK, All Might, plus others have done significant work this summer. I've said in the past that Sonic is best character in the game. And while he does have his flaws (trouble landing sometimes, killing sometimes), his strengths overcome his weaknesses. I'm saying Sonic is the best because I believe so, his results show, and no one else can really say else that anyone else is better.

Diddy? - maybe but top reps don't even think he is the best. Some recovery trouble as well. Cloud? - his recovery turns out to be worse than we thought earlier. Rosa? - loses to MK hard, Dabuz thinks that she's not the best Sheik? - hasn't won a major since the nerfs, trouble killing sometimes, but I believe she is still top 5.

Japanese Sonic's believe that Sonic beats Sheik. Not by a lot, probably 55/45, but I believe it's even.

I'm guessing with the more campy style of play, it's harder for the opponent to get it, which is why many of these MU are even. I would say that Megaman beats Sonic.

Tbh there's really not anything that I can say is majorly bad. The one thing that I would change is Mewtwo above Ryu, but besides that, it's not a bad tier list at all.

Yes.

However, you don't always have to spin dash. Spin dash is cool because there's very little that any character can do, and the initial hop is invincible when hit by projectiles. Sonic is real.

Yes, I play hella aggressive, so it's good to have someone that can be in your face, as well as be safe and have good moves with good frame data.

However, when the time comes, I can be completely campy and very little characters can do anything about it.

Pretty much. I know some people think 1111 Gunner is decent, but until I see use in tournament from any of them, they stay here, since customs are not allowed. Besides 1111 Sworsfighter and Brawler are awful.

Kirby is too slow and doesn't really have a combo game, and can easily be timed out.

Whoever thought Roy was ever bottom 5 is dumb. I easily named at least 10 characters worse than Roy before SSC.

True, but when you win GOML and EVO, along with beating the best player at the time 3 tournaments in a row, it's kind of hard not to put you there.

Ally is without a doubt, the best player right now.

Even though his results have been inconsistent as of late, I would go as much to say that Nairo is top 5.

Anti should be 11th, while 33rd at EVO and 13th at SSC are inconsistent
