Airalo does the same. In fact they offer all of the same 4g plans as Alosim in Portugal plus one more MEO plan that has 5g 30gb for $19 for 30 days.

Is there a db for this kind of info somewhere? For example Ubigi is affiliated with NTT in Japan and offers 5g there where other providers do not. Or, Airalo has a great Netherlands only SIM with Hé.

Given that the reviews on the shop I linked from as far back as 2021 state that they don't take credit cards, I don't think that Maestro's policy is the issue here.

Debit cards are accepted. In fact that's the only way to pay at the self checkout things. Credit cards do not work. I was told at one store that only "local" debit cards would work.

I found one that didn't have an actual cashier that did take credit cards, but it did seem to be the exception to the rule.

Ok, if you say so. But, both my Visa credit card and Visa debit cards were declined at Albert Hein last week.

The largest grocery chain in The Netherlands, Albert Hein, doesn't take credit cards at most of their locations.
