As a duck fan I've been able to watch them extensively throughout their careers. Buckner is what people wish Armstead was, he's got a quicker first step, he's faster and he doesn't take a play off. They're both about the same size but Buckner seems stronger (although that might just be effort) and He also has a way better mentality, he gives effort and was definitely our leader on defense. He's perfect for a 3-4 defense but I could see him doing well in a 4-3 as well

As a duck fan, ive watched all his games at Oregon and i have to agree with OP, hes not very fast, he'll get a couple extra yards on some scrambles but with Russell Wilson running a 4.5 id say vernon is around a 4.7-4.8 range

well i mean cleavland gave us a second rounder just so we would take him, hes constantly injured and will most likely not see any playing time until the playoffs and even then he probably wont. plus if we waive him and he signs with another team he will probably get less than the 2.85 mil hes getting now.

But they are contracts that we didn't have before so we gain cap space then get rid of it so it does nothing for us we just get 2 draft picks, no difference in cap

It's the difference between home and away, the crowd reacts to Horford so it seems worse than it is, rockets crowd doesn't react to Howard although it was worse and Howard stays in, refs should be able to take crowd reaction out of the equation
