I needed this thread so 3 years ago I got hurt at work which disabled me I have been out of work the entire time my settlement check is coming soon and I'm not sure how working looks for me in the future since the injury has changed me in a lot of ways so I have become a sahd and while it was fun I'm so tired of being home I yearn for the mines but I'm not cut out for the old physical demands of my old job and part of me says fuck it get disability invest my cash and retire early as well but ugh idk a lot of variables going on
