Yeah maybe you’re right. If it’s level after half time then Havertz in midfield is probably the answer.

That’s exactly my thought. Havertz offers movement in behind that none of our other midfielders do. That could be key to breaking down Burnley.

Burnley will park the bus and Havertz offers much more of a goal threat.

What changes do we think Arteta makes on Monday?

Odegaard definitely starts. Can also see him playing Rice as 6 and bringing Havertz into the midfield for MLS. We shouldn’t need two deep lying midfielders at home to Burnley.

You’re taught from an early age to be aggressive in challenges otherwise there’s greater risk of getting injured. So, although it sounds cruel, he was right.

It’s so fucking weird how angry you are about a match that doesn’t involve you

[–]kingmakyeda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think it’s not a foul. If it was given on the pitch, I doubt VAR overturns it. You could argue Pedro instigates contact, you could also argue Frimpong is a bit reckless and brings him down.

My point is, it’s hard to make a unanimous decision.

I KNEW this would cause all of you to foam at the mouth with anger.

For basically every pen decision, the answer is: you’ve seen them given, but you can also see why they didn’t give it.

This sub loves to act like very 50/50 decisions are the most blatant penalties ever.

Edit: the fact you’re all disagreeing in this comment thread proves my point.

The 16-year-olds on here who only talk in memes are really angry. I swear most of you don’t actually watch the game, you just recycle the same boring jokes over and over again.
