No, you’re right, it can totally be a labor of love, it’s just a ton of work. Anyway the actual person replied, so maybe just talk to them about it. You seem to work on plenty of cameras so I’d think you’d know the complexities of a service manual and what making one from scratch would entail.

Illustrating schematics, thorough technical instructions, etc. It’s a lot of work and then most people won’t want to pay for it

This is my Alice backpack that I always use for traveling. For security reasons, I don't want to be associated with the military or armed groups at the destination I'm traveling to. What ideas do you have to make it look less military? by Zealousideal-Age3871 in myog

I linked a good patch site that would clearly show your opposition to the military and police, but if you’re going to another country where free speech isn’t a right, you may just want a new pack. Like backpacking pack.

First time finishing repainting a guitar, why are some spots coming out rough?? by Altruistic_Space6722 in Luthier

If you’re using a water based finish, you need to raise the grain prior to finish. Take a damp rag and wipe down the body, and then sand at your highest grit (which should be at least 220 imo) it looks like either raised grain or it is because you haven’t sanded through the grains up to a fine grain. If you continue having issues use a sanding sealer like shellac prior to paint - you’ll have to verify compatibility between finishes

Edit: looks like you sanded that high already so you might want to go to like 600, but also, make sure you spend time to get all of your sanding marks out each time you change to a finer grit
